Où se situe le logement

Mérida, Yucatán, Mexique

Merida, the capital of Yucatan has colonial and Mayan treasures to be discovered. The nearby ruins of Uxmal offer some clues to the life of the ancestors of the conquerors who arrived in 1542, while the Mayan culture is still evident in the daily life of Merida and in the many colorful festivals that are celebrated around the city.
Some points of interest in the historic center are:

MAIN SQUARE
-Traced from the foundation of the city by the Adelantado Don Francisco de Montejo. This space has been seen in the history of Merida since 1542.
-The Main Plaza of the historic center, is an open-air meeting space, you will find the "confidente" chairs and on Sundays craft stalls and typical Yucatecan food are installed.

PARK OF SAINT LUCIA
- One of the most emblematic parks in the city, it has a restaurant corridor. At night, it is common for cultural events to take place, such as the traditional "Vaquerías"

SAN ILDEFONSO CATHEDRAL
-Founded in 1561, at the request of King Felipe II, it was erected as a cathedral to the church in the Yucatan capital and was given as a title to San Ildefonso.
- Its architectural style is Moorish in the towers and interior, and the facade is Renaissance.
-In the interior you can admire the chapel of the Christ of the blisters (1656), the baptistery and chapel of the tabernacle (1904), the sacristy and chapel of San José (1610), as well as the chapel of the rosary (1610).

CASA MONTEJO
-The space it occupies belonged to the "Adelantado" Francisco de Montejo, but it was his son, better known as "El Mozo", who built what would be the abode of the conquistadores, completed in 1549.
-Of the original construction today only the portal of its facade is preserved. TO
