LOCATION PLUS! 450m from Norman Park train station, 600m from Wynnum Road bus station and 1.9km from Mowbray Park ferry terminal. Easy access to City, Valley, Gabba, Southbank, Airport, M1+Gateway Motorways.

We live upstairs at the property - on the same level as the pool and BBQ area - but the granny-flat is fully self-contained and private (we often don’t even meet our guests!). We strive to provide our guests with a home away from home. The living area includes a comfy lounge, huge TV (Foxtel and Netflix), dining table, plus books and magazines to enjoy. The kitchen contains a double-door fridge/freezer with ice maker and filtered water, two burner stove, oven, microwave, large electric skillet, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. In the combined bathroom and laundry you can find a shower, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. A hair dryer can be provided on request. Both bedrooms consist of queen-size beds while one bedroom contains a built-in wardrobe. Inside pets are welcomed. If your pet is staying with you they can access the secure gravel clothes-drying area to use the toilet 24/7 or can be walked around the lawn areas of the property. Guests are also welcome to explore our lush herb, cottage and rainforest gardens.

Où se situe le logement

Norman Park, Queensland, Australie

Our house is close to Norman Park State school, Lourdes Hill School and Churchie. We are 4 train stops away from Southbank (Somerville House) and 15 minutes drive from the airport. We are located within easy access to both the M1 and Gateway motorways. There are many great cafes and restaurants nearby. Our favourite is Clancy’s Espresso on Wynnum Road - make sure to tell them you’re staying at Cat’s AirBnb! We also love Thai Chiangrai on Wynnum Road and Barra Boys (fish and chips) on Stanley Street. The best local pubs include Howard Smith Wharves, The Story Bridge Hotel and Easts Leagues Club. There are several playgrounds and parks within walking distance, Wilson Park being the better of these in our daughter’s opinion. Alternatively Southbank Parkland with its artificial beach is a short train ride away, and New Farm Park is an easy trip on the Mowbray Park ferry. The best view of the city is achieved by walking along Power Street which runs parallel to our street. Sunsets over the city are divine all year round and you are even able to see the Story Bridge! It’s also a great spot to view River Fire, Southbank and Ekka fireworks as well.
