Our Condo Highlights: Oceanside! No streets to cross to go to the beach! Central AC!! Private lanai with ocean views and access from both the living room and master bedroom. Luxurious Bamboo Sheets! A large bathroom with Walk-in shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances: a New refrigerator!, cooktop & oven, microwave, 4 slicetoaster and dishwasher. Dining area for 4. Also a workspace. The LR is has a large sectional sofa. Watch your favorite shows on a 65" Flat Screen TV with numerous cable channels and DVD player. Flat screen TV in the MBR. FREE WIFI. King bed in the Master Bedroom w/ luxurious bamboo sheets, bunk beds are located in a nook by the entry. Pack and Play crib is available upon request.

Our vacation rental is located on floor 5. The unit is around the corner from the elevators. There is a coin-operated shared laundry on floor 5 near the elevators. (NOTE: We will provide quarters for one full Washer & Dryer load) during your stay. Most of the complex renovation construction has been completed over the last 2 years. Some painting and plantings in the building courtyard are currently taking place and will be completed within the next month.

Parking is free. Receive a parking placard upon check-in. Open parking except in reserved spots (cone), 3 hr visitor or handicapped parking.

The Kauhale Makai oceanfront property borders the Waipulilani County Park with access to 6 tennis courts (4 that are dual use pickelball courts), 2 shuffleboard courts, volleyball, and the coral Waipuilani Beach perfect for morning jogs, long walks, and quiet sunbathing. Calm ocean mornings are popular times for kayaking and canoe club activities, while mild trade wind afternoons are a visual treat of colorful windsurfers, kite surfers and stand-up paddlers.

Our unit is equipped with linens and towels, and beach towels. We provide a starter kit of Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Body wash, Lotion, Hand Soap, Dish Soap, Laundry Detergent, Dryer sheets, Dishwasher Tabs, toilet paper, Paper towels, and trash bags. An iron and tabletop ironing board is available.

Beach equipment, our unit is also equipped with 4 fold-up mesh chairs, 2 adult and 2 youth sized snorkel gear, bamboo mats, beach frisbee and football. If you wish to use boogie boards, play tennis or pickleball, please request these items prior to your arrival. We will ensure the equipment will be available for you. We have a storage box on the lanai for these items.

Our housekeeper and her team abides by rigorous safety and cleanliness protocols & standards as outlined by the CDC.

Beaches and Critters: Our Maui beaches can vary in size month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and the tides. You may experience an occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos, are friendly, eat insects and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Our complex undergoes quarterly pest treatments, but pests such as ants, etc. cannot be completely controlled in the tropics.

We love this quiet Kihei neighborhood! Our condo is within 10-15 min walking distance of our good restaurants in the Azeka Shopping Center: Amigo’s, Piko Café, Nalu’s, Coconut’s Fish Cafe and Peggy Sue’s, and Peace Love Shave Ice, to name a few. Long’s Drug is in the same shopping Center. A Food Truck Court is located behind Long’s and Eloku Kitchen and Fork and Salad. Safeway is within 1 mile with additional shopping and restaurants. Other good restaurants further down South Kihei Road (Kihei Kalama Village) to include South Shore Tiki Lounge, What Ale’s You?, Dog & Duck Irish Pub, Three’s Bar & Grill, VIBE Bar Maui, Kihei Café; Paia Fish Market; Ohana Sea Food, Haui’s Life’s a Beach, Fat Daddy’s Smokehouse, Lava Rock Bar & Grill!

We will send you info about our condo prior to your travel, then your door code. If there are any island specific regulations, or issues, we will communicate with you prior to your travel. If you have any questions about the condo, travel to Maui, things to do, we are always happy to assist in finding you the information. We live on island. We also have an on-island assistant that lives 10 min from the condo, in the event someone is needed to attend to any issues. We do contact you the day after your arrival to ensure the condo meets your expectations. Otherwise, we respect your privacy and want you to enjoy your stay in the peace and quiet that you are seeking.
