This rental is an entire apartment on the 3rd floor of a 3 family house. It features a one bedroom with one queen size bed,a nightstand, an antique armoire closet and one bureau. You have use of a full kitchen complete with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove and refrigerator. There is one bathroom with shower and tub. You have a huge living room complete with separate dining area. There are wonderful limited views of Boston harbor. There's plenty of seating and a tv will be supplied. There is no cable tv however you will have access to free wireless Internet and an antenna hookup for local channels on your tv. There is also a large selection of books and some dvds. There is a wonderful back porch deck complete with table, chairs and umbrella for you to sit outside in good weather during the summer months. There are hardwood floors throughout and the decor features some beautiful, oriental rugs, antique and vintage furniture. This apartment is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Why stay in one of those cold, impersonal, expensive hotels when you can stay here and relax in surroundings like the comforts of your own home. You don't even need a car as you have easy walking and access to all types of transportation!

Guests will only be able to access the front hallway to enter building and the rental apartment. No cellar or backyard access is allowed. There are keyless entries to the building and the apartment. You will be provided your own individual code that will only be available during your stay.

Your hostesses will be available for our guests at anytime during your stay. You will be provided with phone numbers when you arrive.
There is no washer or dryer available however local laundromats are available within a short walking distance. If you have a car there is public street parking. You must take note of street signs that post cleaning days and residential parking only for each section as to not receive any tickets or be towed. All this information will be provided to our guests. This apartment is located on the 3rd floor which includes many stairs there is no handicap access so please be aware of this when requesting a rental. We ask that any requests for rentals are for you only and not for someone else. Airbnb members only. We prefer members with a prior established good review history but will still look at inquiries and make decisions whether to accept or decline based on what we are comfortable with.
We love children, but our home was built in the 1800's and the following factors may potentially pose safety issues for children. Our 3rd floor apartment windows are less than 1 ft from the floor. This could pose a potential safety hazard. There are no safety bars on these windows. Also our deck is also older and not built for current child safety precautions. Pets are not allowed accept for service dogs proper documentation is required prior to booking approval.
You will be staying in an apartment in our family home. We ask that you conduct yourself respectfully.
**Your booking acknowledges your reading and agreement with our house rules**
*There will be no access to the cellar or usage of the backyard.
*We ask there be no drugs or parties.
*No smoking is allowed in the main hallway, apartment or outside back deck.
*No pets allowed.
*We ask that only the guests that have rented be allowed in the building or apartment no additional overnight guests or visitors are allowed.
*Please do not leave any food on the table outside or on the back deck.
*Laundry services are not provided. (There are local laundromats in the area and we have provided some names in our handbook).
*No candles are allowed.
*Because we have hardwood floors, we ask if you have rolling suitcases that you will use care and try not to roll them around on the floors. There are plenty of rugs to place them on.
*Please Do Not give out any of the entry key codes to anyone (Your code will only be valid for your stay).
*Please clean and put away any dishes, pots, pans and utensils back in the cabinets.
*At the end of your stay, please put used sheets, pillowcases, pillow shams, comforter, blankets, bathroom rug and towels in a plastic bag, which will be provided for you, and leave in front of the second floor apartment.
*At the end of your stay, please put your garbage in a tied plastic bag and put downstairs in the front hallway. If you are leaving on a WEDNESDAY that is our garbage day and instead we ask that you please bring your garbage bags to the sidewalk in front of the house by 10 am.
*Please make sure all the doors are closed and locked when you leave.
*Please make sure all lights and appliances are turned off when not in use and when you leave.
*You will have access to WIFI during your stay, we expect that you do not download any illegal content.
*In the event of an emergency your hostesses will be able to access the rental at any time.
*We do not allow our address to be used for any packages, mail or deliveries sent to the apartment.
*Check in time is 3:00pm.
*Check out is termination of your stay. All guests will be required to completely vacate the rental by 10:00am.
*Please leave your rental as you found it. Cleaning up after yourselves is much appreciated!
