“Robinson's Place Butuan is so far the biggest mall in the city. Travelers usually drop by and buy some essentials for their stay like food, toiletries and etc. The mall is just along the national highway and approximately 8 kilometers away from the farm house that you are booked”

“Experience getting to know Butuan City more by walking along at the longest boulevard in Southern Philippines. The historic Montilla Boulevard located in the downtown area is approximately 5 kilometers in length. So prepare your walking shoes and explore the local lifestyle of the country's ancient kingdom that transformed into a bustling city in the northeastern part of Mindanao island.”

Museum
“The National Museum of Butuan is a must-visit destination when in the city. This unique museum yielded tremendous archaeological finds of collectors' value. The most significant find were the prehistoric Balanghai or Butuan boats that date from 4th to 13th centuries A.D., just five kilometers from the city proper. The city of Butuan is the only place in the Philippines where you can find the ancient boats and learn about the ancient kingdom stories of the country to be able to understand more about the culture and heritage of the country.”

“Mazaua Island Resort is recommended to those who would like to relax at the same time hang out for a drink in a bar in the middle of a man-made lagoon. The place is named after an ancient lost island wth a historic value that even related to early European explorers during the 16th century. The locally famous drink named "laksoy" (rhum made out of fermented palm oil extracts) story can even be traced centuries back. ”

“Tuna Republik Butuan is a local restaurant that serves mostly tuna dishes. The 'homey' ambiance of Tuna Republik is even manifested in its dishes. Meals combined with fresh grilled, 'sashimi' style and barbequed tuna will always be the all-day favorites of local diners in the city. A must try. Also, the owner of the resto is a good friend of mine. Surely, our Airbnb guests will experience an extra dose of hospitality once they get to drop by at the place.”
