Point of Interest
“Great Mini Golf spot, actually closer to the airport! Also has a lovely butterfly creek next door. Both are great spots to visit. Mini golf I feel is quite popular with the family as well. Good entertainment for a few hours along with some lunch.”

Autres grands espaces
“This place is right next to butterfly creek. This is Auckland’s only urban high ropes activity park. Rocket Ropes has something for everyone including a fun, low, preschool Rocketeer Course for ages 2-6, as well as the Croc Tower which includes 3 exciting and challenging levels from 1.5m up to 6m!”

Scenic Lookout
“Less than 2 hours drive, very scenic initially through rolling farmland, cross the Kopu Bridge and the second half of the trip is beautiful through valleys, fern groves and native forrest”

Bus Station
“The SkyBus Express has changed and is no longer the most convenient way to travel into the city during week days, and weekend days. Local tip: Use the AirPorter380 (Manukau bound) bus service to Papatoetoe train station, and take a quiet, brand new, comfortable electric train into the heart of central Auckland (see my Papatoetoe train station guide). Easy as. For late or super early arrivals, the SkyBus is still the best option. ”

Route
“JK Golf – 24 hour Driving Range So you know the side roads you drive past every time you go to the airport. I can only imagine the number of people who mutter ‘hmm, that would be a great place to visit’ but completely forget to actually go on their return. Well JK is one of those places unfortunately. In saying that I’m not sure why you would want to have it open 24 hours. Sure it’s by the Airport but golf at 3am?”
