Playground
“This is a park and hiking trail along the river. It's close to home and a really natural park, not a lot of development (except one really cool kids playground). Great for sitting and watching the river, and the beaver late in the afternoon before dusk. ”

“Home of an 18 hole Frisbee golf course, several festivals throughout the summer and a soon to be winter chalet/ski hill. This huge park also provides access to the river valley and all of its trails. Watch the sunset or stand under the old CNR bridge as a train comes chugging along.”

Parc
“An excellent off-leash dog park with beautiful views of the river. DO NOT leave valuables in your vehicle. (From the townhouse, exit the complex and turn right, and then turn right onto Garvie Road. Take a left onto Central Avenue and then a right at the first set of lights onto the gravel road. Follow this road for approx. 2KM and it will lead you straight to the parking lot. )”

Parc
“Beautiful park that runs along the river. Prime for playing frisbee, setting up a hammock, having a picnic, or if it's winter, skating at one of the most beautiful rinks in Canada (note: they've got free skate rentals for you!) In summer, this park is used for tons of festivals like Pride Festival and Jazz Festival.”

Situated on the South Saskatchewan River, the park offers various recreational opportunities for visitors to enjoy including water activities, playgrounds, tennis and volleyball courts, golf and a popular outdoor pool with a waterslide. The park's 1.5 kilometre nature trail begins at the interpretive centre and provides a great opportunity to experience the diverse wildlife and ecosystems contained within the park.”
