Forest
“Bangor City Forest is a nice place to go for a hike. I would highly recommend the bog boardwalk!”

Waterfront
“Just across the Penobscot River from Orrington is the Bangor Waterfront. A nice place for a walk along the river and you can sometimes catch a concert in the open air concert venue or a car show in the parking lots. There is always something going on at the Bangor Waterfront. ”

Parc
“OK it's a very small park but it's very close - less than 15min by car. You can swim, paddle and sail here. And the lake is almost 8 miles long. While it never gets crowded anywhere in Bangor, this is a place that some people find too plebeian. I still enjoy it.”
