“The tip of Africa, well nearly, actually it is Cape Agulhas, but Cape Point is better know as the tip of Africa! About 1 hours drive from us, you can drive along 1 coast line and return along the other. Both are very scenic, and beautiful. If you do not want to walk up, there is a vernicular to take you to the top. Best to check if operating before you go. There is a fee to enter Cape Point Nature Reserve, free for Wild Card holders”

“A vibrant, warm-hearted little village in the heart of Woodstock where talented people come together to share, collaborate and show off their heart-felt passion. The Old Biscuit Mill is home to a range of artisan workshops, designer stores, decadent restaurants and the popular Saturday Neighbourgoods Market. The Old Biscuit Mill is one of Cape Town’s must-visit attractions. Well loved by locals and tourists alike, the Mill is a bustling hub where people come together to eat, drink, shop and have an all-round great time. Do not miss out the Saturday farmer's market - get there early to avoid the crowds. ”

“My favourite run/walk in Cape Town. The Contour path takes you around Lion’s ahead with spectacular 360 degree views. When it is full moon you will see a lot of hikers walking up to the top of Lion’s head with head torches.”

“The Company’s Garden is Cape Town’s green lung. This oasis right in the centre of the city is a favourite for both locals and tourists. The site is important historically, and is a thriving urban space where buskers strum guitars while office workers sun themselves over lunch hour. ”

Restaurant de fruits de mer
“This is an excellent restaurant located at the harbour; it is the most expensive in Kalk Bay, but worth it. Fabulous view of the sea, and good service. Wine is quite pricey so maybe take your own and pay corkage. Make a reservation and specify that you’d like a table closest to the sea.”

Bar
“Not often you can sit in a restaurant and dangle your legs over the seawall and feel the waves splash on your skin. An old favourite. It has a variety of restaurants and bars to suit the different age groups. Well worth a visit, and if you are a solo traveler, a sundowner in the top (quite smokey) bar will get you a lot of new friends. ”
