“Accessing and exiting the water requires walking over some rough lava, so wear wear good sandals and be prepared to maybe getting a scrape or two, The snorkeling is excellent and worth the effort. Not for the older or younger groups. Visit the National Historic Monument next door to learn about Hawaii culture.”

“Many experienced snorkelers enjoy Two Step more than Kahaluu. This is a 30 minute drive south. The coral is better here but this is for those comfortable in deep water. If you swim past the Aloha spelled out with concrete blocks to the deep blue waters you may encounter spinner dolphins. ”
