Transportation
“Inside, there’s a central garden. It’s a nice, quiet place to relax and drink a coffee in the middle of the busy city. I visit the store here quite a lot to get garbanzo bean miso, but they have a lot of other carefully selected items too. They have a restaurant and cafe here also. They hold a market in the central garden every Wednesday with fresh produce and so on, so you should definitely go then if you get a chance! Some Wednesdays I’ll be there, too, selling my miso.”

“Daikanyama's new shopping mall is not really a mall at all. Rather, it's a collection of free-standing shops and cafés – including Kirin's craft beer brewery, LA clothing retailer Fred Segal, and Kamakura's Nor Cal-inspired Garden House Crafts – that all open up onto a pretty paved lane featuring wooden benches and greenery.”

“Once home to the Tokyu Toyoko metro line tracks, Log Road is now a stretch of shops and eateries lined with wooden benches and lush, meticulously landscaped greenery that’s reminiscent of New York City’s High Line. At the end of the path, find Garden House Crafts, a Northern California–inspired café serving plates such as organic house-made granola and avocado toast freshly made from locally sourced ingredients. The full bakery on premises churns out fresh loaves of bread, croissants, and seasonal and year-round pastries like a Nutella muffin. Cellophane-wrapped cookies and other treats are on hand to take away—tuck a few into your carry-on for the flight home.”

“Atop the SOHO building this sleek bar offers to-die-for views of Tokyo Bay from its floor-to-ceiling windows. Go up a level for access to the roof for even better views with your drink. Find directions on how to access the bar in the convenience store on the ground floor of the building. ”
