“Famous as the site of several of British landscape artist John Constable's paintings. Flatford is a tiny hamlet on the river Stour which is reached through East Bergholt. It has a lovely RSPB nature garden (free), and a National Trust information centre, tea room and shop. Paying car park to non-NT members.”

“The picturesque village of Dedham with its Mill and river boats is a must for a day out, there are craft and art stands in the old church in the centre of the village. It does get busy in the summer months and the car parking can be tricky. There is a petting zoo next to the main car park too. A stroll and ice-cream is a must.”
