The house is located in a place between the ocean and the lagoon in the extremely south of the main island... It is living here a extended family very lovely. The arredament is homemade staff from the closer islands. It is the best place to enjoy and discover the best of Tuvalu. The women living in the house are always smiling and they cooking food every day. The guest can enjoy it much they can. it is possible rent motorbikes and book ferry going in other islands around.
He was no there. Nobody knew about him.The woman who was in the picture was the only one who knew him and she told me that he stayed at her house last year but he already left there. I was very confused. I didn't have internet, enough cash, and there was no ATM,could not use a credit card. Fortunately I was able to stay at the house of the local people.
This place is not what we were expecting, but if you're looking for an experience with a local family, then we recommend it either way. The family was very accommodating to our needs and helpful with our research on the Islands of Tuvalu. The place is very basic, but at night you can fall asleep to the sounds of the waves from the beach, just behind the house. As with much of the area of Funafuti, you will have to deal with the occasional smell that comes from the poor septic system. Overall, a memorable experience.
My place is close to restaurants and dining. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We can arrange boat tours for snorkeling, reef walking, and scuba diving around the islets and the Funafuti Conservation Area.
