Tournée des bars cachés avec un habitant
Join me for a night out in town !!! We will be going to my top favorite speakeasy bars (3 or 4 hidden bars) around Pasar Seni (close to Chinatown). Each has a different theme and ambiance. The KL Urban jungle has lots of hidden doors that lead to amazing sights, smells, and sounds. Plus, we'll go for a nice dinner around the area so you can enjoy the local food. On top of that, we will be walking from one location to another and that would also be a part of the experience where you can enjoy the night lights around Old KL City (Pasar Seni). I would like to share the experiences and excitement that these bars have given me when I'm out drinking with my friends. We'll discuss various topics, especially about Southeast Asia, Malaysia, and Kuala Lumpur, or where ever the conversation leads us. If you guys would like to continue the night, I would be more than happy to suggest clubs or bars. Note: Cocktails may cost from RM 30 to RM 50 per glass. Natural History Walk of Batu Caves
The Batu Cave is a popular tourist destination for many tourists to Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia. Not known to many are unique species of life and important past geography that has shaped Kuala Lumpur and its modern landscape. The walk starts at the Batu Cave Train station, into the Temple grounds along and up the popular stairs of the Batu Cave Complex. We would do our best to explain 440 million years of Natural history of the Kuala Lumpur Limestone, its flora and fauna seen along and that is unique to the Batu Cave and how the Limestone has shaped the Klang Valley. Of course, We will touch on the "recent" human activities of the area (Hindu Temple & Staircase) This would be a walk with lots of information about the Batu Cave hill and its significance and impact to the Klang Valley and to limestone conservation in the region. The simple walk of Batu Cave Grounds to raise awareness and knowledge of this heavily visited but poorly interpreted area. Other things to note: This is an educational walk rich in spoken interpretation I hope you like to listen :)
Hidden Gems of Kl City, Old meets New
From our meeting point at the Museum, we will take the 'road less travelled' to one of the best kept secrets - a hidden location to see replicas of ancient instruments of time from early civilisations. Next, we will head to the Perdana Botanical Gardens (green lung of the city) to experience a tropical rainforest. Other highlights are the Deer Park, Hibiscus Garden and Bamboo Playhouse. We continue on foot to Chinatown, where you can immerse yourself in the history, arts and culture unique to the Chinese community in Malaysia. I will bring you to sample street food, pose with interactive street murals, hunt for souvenirs or just chill in a cool cafe. For memorable photos, we visit the River of Life at blue hour. I will show you the best instagram spots at famous landmarks (Masjid Jamek, Dataran Merdaka, Sultan Abdul Samad building). For a taste of Malaysian food, you can dive into the local food culture and eat like the locals. I will recommend restaurants serving authentic food made by, and eaten by locals. Other things to note It's an easy to moderate walk, with stops at interesting attractions. Light weight attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Alternative start time can be accommodated. Please message me, thank you.
