“This is a little bit of drive, maybe 10 minutes depending on traffic, but if you’re looking to overindulge for breakfast, you’ve found the right place. Macadamia pancakes with coconut syrup are a specialty, but be hungry. A few pointers as this place gets very busy and you should expect to wait. First, there is some seating on first come first served basis, but do not sit until after you’ve ordered – seating is tough so we do take out sometimes. Second, it used to be cash only, and I don’t know if that’s changed, so be prepared. Finally, while you’re waiting in line be aware of the chickens which frequent the outside of the restaurant. That said, this is a Kihei institution and you should give it a shot.”

“They are open for breakfast lunch and dinner. They have a great Taco Tuesday. Their strawberry margaritas are my favorite! Sit at the bar during happy hour or request an ocean view table and watch the sun go down. Great place for both!”

“Best coffee in Maui. On hot days the mocha frosty is amazing. In the morning the peaberry drip is the way to go. Just next door to Kihei Cafe. You get coffee here and eat at Kihei Cafe. ”

“Right across the street! Local Kona coffee, hilarious but NSFW cards and magnets, yummy breakfast bagels and paninis, and view of the ocean from the patio tables. I love the Kalama on Maui sweet onion bagel.”

“Kihei's only health food store, very expensive, good salad bar if you keep it light. Only .75 a gallon for akaline or R.O. water from the machine, bring your own container. Walk across the street, in front of hotel sit on the wall and watch the turtles and the sunset at the same time!”
