“I’m not a huge fan of this place but other people are. New place made to look old, but no way it should be called a “Pub”. ”

“Amazing drinks. Their emphasis is cocktails based on Italian bitter liqueurs ("potable red bitters", eg Campari), amari, and sweet vermouths (they have the most extensive selection of all three West of the Hudson), but they have the skills and ingredients to take you any direction you choose. ”

“Elegant décor. Lively vibe, but not excessively noisy. Great for people-watching. Gayest of the unofficial gay bars, (which includes pretty much all of Lancaster's nicer bars, apart from the official one of course). Live music upstairs at Crazy Shirley’s some nights. Open til 2 am without fail 364 nights a year.”

“Dating back to the early 1900's speakeasy times, this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Lancaster city. Tucked away in a quaint alley, it's charm & great food make it a very special dining experience! 5 min Uber ride or 17 min walk, (6) blocks if you cut through the cemetery) ”

“This is our favorite place to get breakfast, it's just so comfortable and tasty. Quality ingredients in a vibe that that still feels like an old school arts town hangout.”

“This is actually just a really good quality "regular bar", but I include it here because one of the managers, Steve Wood, is a world-class, award winning mixologist. Consequently, the on-menu cocktails are way above average, and you have maybe a 50-50 chance of being served by someone who will create and personalize vs just following recipes. ”

“Some of the best food around, and for great prices! Cafe-style and casual. Their vegan power bowl is incredible, and their daily specials are worth checking out. Great breakfast and lunch spot. ”
