We had a great weekend in Norwich. The house is fantastic and the location is perfect for everything you want to do, the train station is a 5 minute walk. The house is spotless and really well decorated with everything you need. Communication was great before and during our stay with loads of information. Parking at Rose St car park is great and cheap, £13.60 for two days and it's just 5 minutes away. Thanks Graham & Collette.

Very central location, just a five minute walk to near the castle and right by the cathedral, this townhouse also has lovely views of the cathedral from the bedrooms. Graham and i exchanged mobile numbers so we could keep in touch about our arrival and although he couldn't be there when we got there he made every plans that we could get in ok and checked in with us the following morning. He was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

This charming and well decorated house is in the perfect location for evening drinks, or dining out. In our case, just a girls trip to the city. Graham was a very informative and helpful host, and very flexible with checking in and out times on request. The house is cosy, with all the things you need for a short stay. We visited Rooftop Gardens, just a 5 minute walk away and we loved it! We didn't need to use one taxi or form of public transport during the stay as everything was within walking distance. Also, we highly recommend to eat at the Giggling Squid- a small chain Tai restaurant which is our favourite. All round a lovely stay! Thank you Graham and Collette

Graham's place is super convenient to anyone arriving by train and wanting to be close to the centre of the city but in a reasonably quiet spot. It's also very cozy and even though we did not meet, Graham was very accommodating with our specific needs around checking in and out. Great spot.

The house is perfectly located for the city centre, the castle and the cathedral. We had everything we needed for a great, relaxing weekend of mooching around the city, and Graham was always on hand to answer any queries. Highly recommended.

Graham is an excellent host and communication was top of the list giving great recommendations and responded to all my questions very quickly. The house is in a fantastic location a short walk from the town centre with a true view of the beautiful cathedral. The house is well maintained and very clean with tasteful decoration as well as functionality, had a great weekend here and would strongly recommend both graham and the house for anyone looking to stay in Norwich for shopping, eating (Benedicts is top drawer), gigs or just a bit of sight seeing.

Graham and Collette's house is very cosy, in a great location and more importantly very clean. The place was exactly as described and well equipped to make the stay even more comfortable. A lovely cabin, in a lovely area. We were greeted warmly, even though we had been delayed until quite late by the london traffic! The photos don't do this place justice, it really is lovely! Our first use of AirBnB, and I don't know how anywhere else could compare!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing few days. You are located a fair way out of town, so definitely need a car but a great spot for day trips and drives through country towns. Very accommodating hosts providing cot, high chair, bath and toys for our 8 month old. Thanks for a great family holiday.

We had a lovely stay in the beautiful wooden cabin. The garden is great, especially if you have kids. The cabin is well stocked and homely. We needed to drop our bags off before the check-in time and Jimmy was great in allowing us to do that. We walked up the street looking for the property and he happened to be outside it and greeted us and showed us in. He very kindly let us drop our bags off and also freshen up, get some bits together and told us about the apartment before we headed off. The apartment was exactly as described (even nicer actually). When we returned later in the day Jimmy had laid out tea and coffee (and milk in the fridge!) as well as some sweets and crisps. The sofa bed was made and everything was lovely and comfortable. The apartment is beautifully decorated with lots of great little design details. The bathroom is great with amazing shower! The place was perfect for four close friends staying for one night in Norwich, with great access to the station (4 minute walk) and the town centre (10 minutes). For a longer stay I think it's better suited for two people, but for what we needed it was great. Highly recommended!

Jimmy was so lovely and warm and he lived so close to the property that if we ever needed anything, he literally was a stone's throw away. The apartment was truly wonderful, clean and tidy, stocked with tea and coffee and yummy treats and was just as described. This is a perfect apartment in a great location. It is a very short walk from Norwich Station and only about a 15 minute walk into the very centre of the City. It is in a quieter part of Norwich right near the river. The apartment itself is very clean and immaculately laid out with most things you could want. Bedroom a good size with a comfy double bed. Bathroom new, bright & fresh with excellent power shower and nice touches like cotton buds and cotton wool balls as well as chrome shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower. Kitchen well equipped with everything you would expect and a nice touch again with milk, mineral water and juice left in the fridge for us, a bowl of fruit on the table, crisps and haribo's and tea and coffee. Lounge is comfortable and there is a big flat screen TV with a free-view box so access to more channels than you could shake a stick at. WIFI seemed good and signal was strong at all times. In summary I cannot fault this apartment in any way, it is the little touches that make a place special and Jimmy & Nicole have put extra thought into these to ensure your stay is great. As hosts their communication was perfect and the instructions for entry into the apartment could not have been clearer. If we need to come to Norwich again this is where we will stay.

Amber made us feel very welcome. The tent was lovely and had everything we needed for our trip. We had three children with us - a 9 year old, 4 year old and a 1 year old toddler. Amber made us feel at ease and the children had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful too.

We had an amazing time staying at Ambers Bell Tents. It was unfortunate that Amber was unable to meet us, but she had prepared everything for us before hand, with instructions on where to find things (be it wood or the pub!) and what to do in the local area. The Tent itself was awesome. The furnishings were homely and it genuinely felt cosy, especially with the wood burning stove on and it raining outside! It did rain constantly during our stay but in the intermittent moments between downpours we were able to wander around the amazingly beautiful Mannington Hall Gardens which were just 10m from the tent. You can have a shower in little bathrooms near where you park - its a 30second walk and theyre reasonably good. It is certainly a rustic experience and unbelievably good fun. The Walpole Arms is about a 10-15min walk across some field in Itteringham and is probably one of the best pubs i've been to in years. We had a great and unforgettable time - Thanks Amber!!

We had such a lovely 2 nights staying at Ambers bell tents. It's an extremely peaceful and beautiful part of the country. The yurts themselves are packed with everything you should need and the honesty shop in the middle of the field is stocked with fire wood and coal etc. there a toilets and showers a few minutes walk which are exceptionally clean and functioning. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape to the country! Thanks Amber!

We absolutely loved staying here! The tents were perfect and well stocked. Amber had loads of information about the area with things to do and places for food. Nothing could beat the setting though and after going from city to city on our vacation, it was a welcome break to be in this beautiful area of the country!

We had the most amazing time in Kingfisher tent. We arrived late evening but everything was as Amber had described and it didn't take us long to get the camp fire started. Amber visited us to make sure we had everything we needed and we were relaxed from the minute we got there. Everything is provided so we travelled light. The weather was fine, and the lightening storm on Saturday evening was magical! We will certainly be visiting again!

Amber has thought of everything to make these tents an amazing glamping experience. The tents are well provided for with lanterns, blankets and even marshmallows for toasting on your own fire pit. There's even a welcome pack with maps and recommendations on the local area. The grounds of the hall are absolutely beautiful, and the North Norfolk coast is a short car journey away. A particular highlight was dinner in the Warpole Arms (a 15 min walk across a field). The food was absolutely stunning. There are three other tents in relatively close proximity, so if you are looking for something super excluded then perhaps this is not for you, but we had a truly fabulous weekend, and would return in a flash. Thank you Amber!

Perfect. I will highly recommend Dina's house if you would like to experience best ever air b&b. The location is quite near from the centre and many of facilities in the house also are welcomed to use while you are staying in her house. Dina & Andy are such great host to us. My family felt right at home when we stay at your accommodation. It is the most beautiful Airbnb apartment that we have lived in by far. Thank you for sharing with us the route to the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the various attractions in Norwich. Also, we really took your advice and visited those places you have recommended in London as well. As shown in the pictures, that is exactly how her house look like. It's really comfortable and cozy for a family of 3 adults. Her home is near the train station so it is very convenient for us to travel too. It is near the city centre as well. Come and stay in a beautiful, Grade II listed house, right in the heart of Norwich, with all the wonderful amenities this historic city has to offer just a few minutes’ walk away. A double bedroom with private bathroom and own front door! Come and stay in a beautiful, Grade II listed house, right in the heart of Norwich, with all the wonderful amenities this historic city has to offer just a few minutes’ walk away. The property dates back to the mid 18th century, but has been fully refurbished so that it now offers a warm and comfortable place to stay, with all modern amenities. You will have the use of a beautifully furnished, private double bedroom with its own newly refurbished bathroom, on the ground floor of the house and, if required, the use of a parking space. The facilities are entirely self-contained and you will have your own front door leading out onto a remarkable square, overlooked by the great medieval church of St Michael at Coslany, one of the most elegant and beautiful of Norwich’s city centre churches featuring the best medieval flint work in the whole country. The square is very quiet and so are the neighbours, so it will be the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring. The house is a typical Norwich weaver’s cottage of Tudor construction, much restored and altered in the late-nineteenth century, but still retaining its great historic charm, and it provides the perfect opportunity to step back in history! The room is furnished with antiques and beautiful prints, the bed is a sturdy, all-day, comfortable double sofa bed, with freshly pressed linen. There are tea and coffee-making facilities, a small fridge and fresh fruit, biscuits, milk and bottled water will be waiting for you in the room. The bathroom, with a comfortable bath and shower, has underfloor heating and dimmable lights. There is free wi-fi and I live upstairs, so will be available to direct you to the best breakfast and coffee bars, restaurants, pubs, bistros, museums, theatres and art galleries in town, all within 5 to 10 minutes’ stroll. It's the perfect place to spend a week's holiday exploring Norwich or its surroundings, or to just come for a weekend, take in a Saturday night dinner and show, and a lazy Sunday stroll and gastro-pub lunch. Norwich is also perfectly placed for easy access to wonderful countryside, the amazing Norfolk Broads, and miles and miles of stunning unspoilt coastline. Contact me and I can provide you with any more information you need: I look forward to welcoming you to my home soon! Please note, a two-night minimum stay is preferred. As much or as little as requested by my guests. Everyone is different! The historic setting, the quite cul-de-sac location, no traffic, yet 5 minutes from the market square. You can walk anywhere. In cittá tutto é facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, e la rete di trasporti é comunque ottima.lire la suite

Absolutely spotless, charming studio with separate bathroom on the ground floor of this characterful old building. Elisabetta is great at communicating, and gave us a warm welcome, as well as leaving the small fridge stocked with breakfast essentials (milk, juice, yoghurt), and fruit, cereal, tea and coffee on the side - more than we were expecting! The bed is a sofa-bed but with a comfortable mattress so it's no problem for a couple for a few nights. The bathroom is very comfortable, modern and stylish, although the eco-friendly flush takes two or three attempts to master! It's off a quiet path next to a deconsecrated church, and within very easy walking distance of all the town centre has to offer (including our new favourite brunch venue, The Bicycle Shop). Elisabetta was a perfect host, and I hope we see her again if a return visit to Norwich is on the cards.
Hélène

Elisabetta's place is a beautiful nest located in a beautiful and peaceful location only a few minutes walk away from the most beautiful streets of the city. The room is charming and full of good vibes which really make you feel at home. And last but not least, Elisabetta certainly knows how to welcome people in her own special way. I am looking forward to go back soonest.

I was very impressed. The location was perfect as it was very central and as I specifically wanted to attend a lot of the arts festival events as well as looking at museums & galleries it was very easy. My host, Elisabetta could not have been better. She was very well organised, kind and considerate with exactly the right combination of support and respect for privacy. It was exactly what I wanted and I enjoyed my three weeks there totally. I hope to go back if not next year then the year after.

I was visiting Norwich on business and wanted somewhere less impersonal than a hotel - Elisabetta's room was perfect. The communication with her was great and she ensured the process was easy and went smoothly. The room itself is on a very quiet walkway and quite large, which allowed me plenty of space to work. Helpfully, there was a small fridge stocked with milk, OJ and yoghurt, and there was plenty of tea and coffee, mugs, glasses and cutlery. The room is walking distance to everywhere you need to go in central Norwich, making it very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend for visits to Norwich - I would certainly return, whether visiting for business or pleasure.

The room is perfect for one person or a couple as there is a double size bed. This is a very basic private room in prime location 5 minutes next to everything you need in Norwich city centre. NOTE: We have a brilliant/quiet 1 year old boy Nikko. :) Couple things guests love about my home -The room is very basic but it has all what's needed for short stay -The flat has a kitchen available to guests -The location is as good as it can be as located in city centre + 2 minutes from main bus station and Aviva building + 3 minutes from main shopping area + 10 minutes from Norwich cathedral Things guests do not like about my listing: - We do have a baby and sometimes during night he asks for some milk but as soon as he get's it (1 - 2 minutes) he is busy eating and falls a sleep again. We do not offer private parking space. ------------------------------------------------------------- The bedroom is equipped with a comfy queen size bed with new mattress, set of drawers and wardrobe. There is also a hair-dryer to save you having to carry yours. Bathroom with a shower which is located meters away from room is shared between us. I will provide towels and shower gel / shampoo. There are no pets in here. I will provide coffee, tea, milk and filtered water. Public street parking (limited time) and parking lots (for about 5 pounds per day) available in city centre. You have option to park a car for free from 6pm - 8am on Ber street. Guests will have access to the whole house Except our bedrooms and living room unless you stay for a longer time. Please note that there is not a lock on the guest door however I will never enter the room during your stay unless there is an emergency or you request it for cleaning. Please note that there are stairs in the house leading to second floor. The house is not suited to those with mobility problems. We will most likely be in the house when you are so happy to have a chat and provide recommendations, maps and travel stories. The neighbourhood is quiet during night but located in city centre. You can walk to the Cathedral in 10 minutes or the bars and restaurants in 2-5 minutes. Walk to the city centre shops in 5 minutes. There are also plenty of takeways in the area. If you want to go to the university then the bus stop is about 5 min walk from here. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and around 3 minutes from the bus station. There are also all main bus stops just 5 minutes from house. We love hosting people but for new members, before I can share my home with you, please ensure you have a photo on your profile and include a short message with a bit of information about yourself and what brings you to Norwich.lire la suite

Our house is a short walk to the centre of the city, on a quiet street. The north of the city, where we live, has a variety of things going on, as well as an interesting mixture of people from different walks of life. We like meeting new people too! The room is light and airy. The window is south facing and looks out over our garden, a pleasant spot for breakfast on spring and summer mornings. The room has a comfortable double bed and a small desk. The bathroom is shared with us, but is next to the Air B and B room. Our house is about a fifteen minute walk from the centre of the city with its wide variety of pubs, cafes, restaurants, and shops. There is plenty to see and do within easy reach - riverside walks, cycle paths, parks, museums, art galleries, cinemas and exhibitions. Breakfast is included in the price; help yourself to cereals, toast, coffee (we have instant decaf too) and teas. We usually have fruit. You are welcome to use the kitchen as well as the TV and computer - Wifi is available throughout the house. Iron available - please ask. There is plenty of on street parking; you may need to buy a 'scratch card' permit (£1 a day) but talk to us about parking options as there is also some free overnight parking on the street. There are a range of pubs and takeaways close to our house as well as small supermarket, corner shops and parks. The train station is about thirty minutes walk away, the coach station a bit less. We are happy to help you with directions and advice about things to see and do in the area. We look forward to welcoming you to our house! Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to cook and prepare food - you might need to discuss timings with us in the evenings, though we usually cook quite early. There is also a television and computer with a guest account - if you need it please ask. If we are not around we can arrange access for guests at any time of the day, so are totally flexible about check-in times. Terri works from home sometimes but we are generally around in the evenings to chat and answer queries. Please have a look at our guide book details where we have listed things we think are interesting, affordable or worth seeing in our locality. We also have a cycle available to hire. Lock, helmet and panniers can be provided upon request.lire la suite

Tim and Terri are excellent hosts. Our train was delayed getting in and Tim offered to come and pick us up which was very kind. When we arrived, we came into a warm and calm home and was promptly shown around. The house is absolutely beautiful, a dream home and an inspiration for the future. They have clearly put a lot of time, money and love into their decoration and renovation and the result is seamless. Our bed was comfy, but a little creaky, but the room itself was well equipped with storage space and maps of the city. The bathroom was also very inviting and the shower was hot from the moment it's turned on. In the morning we helped ourselves to teas, coffees and breakfast of which there was everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend anyone else to do the same.

Bed and breakfast in a double room, with a standard double bed, in a four bedroomed brick and flint cottage in Gresham. There is a shower via a mixer tap over the bath and fan heater, as it's a bit cold in winter! There is a kitchen and dining room and a large lounge with TV, DVD player and BT Vision box. There are woodburners in the lounge and dining room. We have a large garden which is slowly being tamed. Well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional cleaning fee of £15 for the first night, then £5 each extra night, plus a bit extra if more than one. We look forward to welcoming you to our home. Breakfast is included - muesli, porridge, shredded wheat and various other cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast, honey, home-made marmalade and jam, eggs from the neighbours' hens when available, tea, coffee, herbal tea. You can eat it with us or on your own, whichever you prefer. I can also provide packed lunches and an evening meal for an extra charge (£3.00 for a packed lunch, £7.50 for evening meal, usually vegetarian). We generally have wholemeal or soda bread and skimmed milk and yoghurt, so if you want white bread and semi-skimmed or whole milk and yoghurt, let me know and I'll buy them if I have enough notice. Plus if you want a specific cereal for breakfast and fruit juice or smoothie or anything else, if you give me enough notice I'll buy some. You may use the kitchen to prepare your own drinks and meals and you may use the washing machine overnight, as we are on Economy 7, but we have no tumble dryer. The mobile phone signal is weak in the house but we have wireless internet access. There is parking space in the front garden and a shed for bikes, plus plenty of tools, oil and a puncture repair kit should they be needed. I am happy to sit and chat but I can also leave you alone! Sometimes you may have to fend for yourself if I am busy, but I can show you where everything is. Gresham is a village near the north Norfolk coast, three miles south of Sheringham and five miles south west of Cromer, both coastal towns. We are also about a 5 minute walk from Chaucer Barn and a 10 -15 minute walk from All Saints, Gresham, so very handy if you are going to a wedding there. Gresham is handy for visiting stately homes - Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are within easy cycling distance. Holkham Hall is also nearby and Houghton Hall is about 30 - 40 minutes away by car. The area is also good for cycling (the house is on the National Cycle Route number 30, part of the Norfolk Coast Cycleway), seal watching at Blakeney, bird watching at Cley and walking the Norfolk Coast Path. There are also walks from the house. The nearest town is Sheringham, 3 miles to the north. Cromer is about 5 miles away to the north east. The Georgian market town of Holt is 5 miles to the west. Norwich is about 20 miles to the south. Gresham is very quiet - there are no pubs or shops. The nearest pubs are The Wheatsheaf at West Beckham, about a mile away, The Red Hart in Bodham or Roman Camp Inn in Aylmerton, both about 2 miles away, and all within easy cycling distance along quiet roads. All three pubs serve food, with The Red Hart being particularly good. The nearest shop is at Aylmerton, about 2 miles away. I have lots of leaflets on activities in the area and can advise you on running, walking and cycling routes. I have OS maps and walking books that you may borrow. The nearest railway station is at Sheringham, 3 miles away and bikes can be taken on the Bittern Line train to Norwich. A taxi from Sheringham to our house is around £10 - £12. Once a day there is a bus from Gresham to Cromer and one to Holt. Ideally you need your own transport for getting around, either by car or bike. Bikes can be hired from Black Bikes in Sheringham and Huff and Puff in Kelling Heath. Huff and Puff will also deliver the bikes to the house for a fee. (Black Bikes might do that as well, but I'm not certain.) Electric bikes can be hired from Electrifying Bikes in Cromer. The mobile phone signal is weak in the house but we have wireless internet access. Be careful if relying on GPS to get here in case you lose the signal. Also some GPS seem to direct guests a rather bizarre way. Best to look at a map to check. There are no street lights in the village, so it's good for star gazing.lire la suite

Anne made us feel very welcome in her home. It was a lovely cottage and wonderful wild garden. The house was exceptionally clean! The bed was comfy. The toilet and bathroom was at the bottom of the downstairs. Breakfast was simple but filling and Anne shared with us her delicious homemade jams, she made a real effort to ensure we liked her breakfast and that we were full. The area was in amongst country roads (we lost network for abit getting there, be warned take a hard copy map with you!) and beautiful country side typical of Norfolk. The house has a good wifi connection. We would be happy to stay there again.

Anne was a great host. She was accommodating of my late arrival thanks to travel delays and when I arrived she showed me around and gave me all pertinent information. In the mornings she made sure breakfast was available and offered to make porridge. As for the room, it was very comfortable and nice. The bed was quite comfortable and I enjoyed getting some good sleep because of it. The rest of the home is nice and the tiny village of Gresham is quite relaxing, with the larger town of Holt being not too far. I would definitely stay here again, and I may do if Anne's room is available when I go back up to Norfolk.

We had a wonderful time with Jean and Nick in Norwich. They were great hosts and made us feel welcome and at ease. Their home is beautiful and immaculate - Thorpe End is a lovely part of the city with good connection to town and out to Wroxham. Jean and Nick added a lot of nice touches, including lovely cookies for our tea, towels and fresh fruit from the garden for breakfast. It was also really nice to have our own fridge, toaster and kettle, not to mention bathroom and sitting room! We will definitely visit again.

Our stay at Jean and Nick's place was simply fantastic. They are wonderful welcoming hosts that instantly made us feel at home. Their house itself is beautiful, immaculate and comfortable. The bedroom was spacious, well equipped and the bed super comfortable. I loved the decor and want these guys to decorate my own house one day!! ;-) We were pleasantly surprised by being offered not just a bathroom, but even a sitting room for our own personal use. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Best of all Jean and Nick were great company and just made the whole experience that bit better. Would love to go back and stay again. I cannot recommend this enough!

Shamus was great about letting me use the kitchen and washing machine. If you're traveling with a car, the place is ideal for getting pretty much anywhere in Norfolk. If you're not, buses go right from the neighborhood to central Norwich. Highly recommend!

Bright double room available with comfy bed and TV. Your own bathroom located downstairs. Walk to Tombland bars and restaurants or the Cathedral in 10-15 minutes. House has a dining room, fully equipped kitchen and nice back garden. On street parking available. Lovely playful cat Eric lives at the property. Three things guests love about my home -Without a doubt the number one attraction is my lovely playful cat Eric -The room is bright and spacious -The location- you can walk to the cathedral in under 15 minutes Three things guests do not like about my listing- -The Stairs are fairly steep and have a small tread as with all Victorian terraces -The house is not close to the university (20 min walk then 20 min bus) -Parking is on street and is very busy in the evenings The bedroom is equipped with a comfy double bed with medium firm double mattress (135cm x 190cm), two bedside tables, dressing table/desk, set of drawers, wardrobe, hair dryer, mirror and lamps. There is also a TV in the room. Please note there is now a more sturdy wooden bed in the guest room rather than the metal bed shown. The low dressing table has also been replaced by a desk so you can use it to work on. You will have your own bathroom with a shower which is located downstairs in the house (the bedroom is upstairs). I will provide towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toilet roll. I have a nice back garden with lots of flowers and a table and chairs which you are welcome to sit in and have a drink or meal (April-September). I have a long haired friendly cat who will be around during your stay. He loves meeting and playing with new people! My house is not suitable if you have a fur allergy. I will provide breakfast items for you to prepare yourself including bread, butter, jam, marmalade, cornflakes, porridge, coffee, tea and milk. Please note I normally keep the bread in the freezer to avoid wastage and give you a choice of types. There is free on street parking on the road (it is very busy in evenings so its a case of park where you can in the area). Please note that you need a permit which I will supply. Please see other info for important parking info. Guests will have access to the whole house except my bedroom and en suite. Please note that there is not a lock on the guest door however I will never enter the room during your stay unless there is an emergency. Please note that as this is a traditional Victorian terrace house the stairs are fairly steep. The house is not suited to those with mobility problems. Depending on your arrival time, I may not be around to meet you, but I have a key safe so can arrange for you to check in when I'm not there if that is more convenient. I am not normally about during the week as I work full time and often go to the gym, out for dinner etc... However, when I am home I am happy to have a chat and provide recommendations and help you with your plans. The neighbourhood is quiet but still very close to the action. You can walk to the Cathedral or the bars and restaurants in Tombland in 10-15 minutes or walk to the city centre shops in around 20 minutes. There are also plenty of takeways in the area. If you want to go to the university then the bus stop is about 20-25 min walk and the bus takes around 20 mins. The house is about a 5-10 minute drive from the train station and around 10-15 minutes from the bus station. Both will be around £5 in a taxi. There are also bus stops at both ends of the road. If you wish to walk, the train station is around 20-25 minutes and the bus station is around 30-35 minutes walk. Unfortunately my house is not suitable for guests travelling with children due to the steep stairs and is not childproof. Please note Airbnb does not allow bookings on behalf of other people (3rd parties) so if you would like to book for your parents, brother etc... They will need to create a profile and send the request from that account. I am really looking forward to hosting people but for new members, before I can share my home with you, please ensure you have a photo on your profile and include a short message with a bit of information about yourself and what brings you to Norwich. I will clean the room, change the bedding and clean your bathroom once per week. I will supply 3 sets of fresh towels per week. I keep the communal areas clean as and when needed. PARKING- please read! Due to recent changes with city parking I can no longer get an unlimited all day parking permit. If you are staying for 1 night I have a 4 hour permit which I can give you at check in which covers you from check in until the rest of the day. You will then need to rest it sometime between 6.30pm and 8am and it will cover you until check out at 12:00 the next day. If you are staying more than one night I have some single use one day permits you can use for the inbetween days so you can leave your car where it is during your stay if you don't want to use it. Unfortunately I can only get a limited number of whole day permits which I need to reserve for guests who need to leave their car during longer stays. I am therefore unable to provide these to one night stay guests who wish to arrive earlier or stay later. However you can park 3 minutes away without a permit so I can show you where that is to avoid you paying expensive city centre prices if you wish to explore for longer.lire la suite

Vicky was very welcoming and friendly and also gave you your own space so was the perfect host. The room was surprisingly spacious and, as Vicky has en-suite, guests have exclusive use of the house bathroom which is great. The area is remarkably quiet for a residential street and we always managed to find a parking space close to the house. We were able to treat the place as a home from home so wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B and B.

Vicky was great, there when you needed her and she left you alone if not. Her place was quaint, tidy, comfortable and had everthing that I needed. 3 small, double rooms in a warm, cosy eco-home with a big heart. You will find yourself most welcome. There are takeaways of every type and shops at the top of the road. The city centre is only a short walk & the road is a cu-de-sac so it's nice and quiet. It's a small, warm home with a big heart. Optional breakfasts for a small extra cost are made with locally sourced organic ingredients and can cater for any dietary requirements. Toast, teas and coffee are on the house. Shared bathroom, kitchen and garden. Free wifi. I live at the listing and am available to help anyone staying to be as comfortable as possible. I'm self-employed and often work from home. I don't have a TV but can provide a screen for viewing DVDs and there's free wifi for watching I-player on your device. I simply love Norwich and enjoy sharing information about the many fabulous things available here. It's an ancient city, safe, clean and friendly. Wonderful independent shopping quarters take Norwich into the top ten shopping places in England. There are 2 cathedrals and many historical buildings for those interested in history and architecture. Lots of local bands and performers choose from a whole host of lovely venues. Over the years I've done extensive research into Norwich's eateries and indie cafes and have found some real peaches. The university (UEA) was voted the best quality of student life in the country. Plus we have peregrine falcons regularly nesting atop the second tallest cathedral spire in the country. There's also a huge permanent outdoor market and a stunning central building called The Forum which holds events that are usually free to watch or participate in. There's lots of public transport, regular buses, cycle lanes and places to hire bikes, plus many pedestrianised streets to give you a great walking/shopping experience. Norwich is a small city so you can walk across the centre in half an hour and discover it's quirky side streets and thriving community hubs. Free wi-fi, shared bathroom, kitchen, garden. Prices are per person. I'm contactable by phone/e mail and often around in my home should you need any help with anything. Eateries of every type at the top of the road, lovely independent cafes and shops. Norwich is a medieval city with a rich and fascinating history. One of only 2 Puppet Theatres in the country, 2 cathedrals, a huge outdoor permanent market in the centre of town and it's friendly, safe and welcoming. Lots of public transport and pedestrianised roads in Norwich. Prices shown are per person so if you bring a friend they will pay the same amount too.lire la suite

My elegant and stylish Georgian townhouse is situated on a residential main road in Wymondham, famous for its historic Abbey. A ten minute walk takes you to the town centre with pubs, cafes and riverside walks. Only 7 miles south west of Norwich. I am very pleased to share my home with you. The house dates from around 1800 and was originally a farmhouse. It has lots of lovely original features and large rooms with sash windows, typical of the Georgian period. Your bedroom is light, airy and large, on the first floor with a very comfortable king size bed. It's decorated with a mixture of vintage and contemporary furniture. Your own private bathroom with bath and shower is just next door across the large landing and for your private use. The house is decorated in muted Farrow and Ball shades and has a relaxing feel. There is a lovely patio and garden which is a real sun trap in summer. If the weather is nice, you can have breakfast outside. There is a private sitting room on the ground floor with TV which you can use and where you can have breakfast. Help yourself to tea and coffee at any time and relax with the papers over a leisurely breakfast. I will be on hand if you need me, but will generally be in and out of the house, usually in the garden or cooking! I live in the house but have my own space. I have a Welsh terrier puppy called Murphy who is very friendly and always wants to meet people! Wymondham is an old historic market town and is well placed to explore beautiful Norfolk with Norwich close by and the Broads and the scenic coast 45 minutes away. There are shops, pubs and cafes in Wymondham town centre, just ten minutes walk. Norwich is only 7 miles away or 15 minutes by car. We are conveniently situated near Kimberley Hall if you are attending a wedding or function there. Also nearby is the University hospital, the UEA, Lotus cars and the racing track at Snetterton. There is plenty of parking in our drive. The bus stop is very near the house and the railway station is fifteen minutes walk away with links to Norwich, Cambridge and London. The rate is £56per night for two people including breakfast. Enquire for single occupancy rates. I also have another bedroom with a king size bed which is across the landing from the main bedroom. This can be booked with the main bedroom and is ideal for friends or family joining you. Please note if you book this, you would all need to share the bathroom. Guests tend to book this if they are coming to a wedding with friends and family. The price is the same as the website. Please enquire if this may interest you. I am a keen cook and baker and you can try my homemade bread and jams at breakfast. There is a good selection of pubs and restaurants in town within walking distance.lire la suite

As a first Airbnb experience, our stay was an ideal start. Sharon made us very welcome in her lovely period home, which was larger than expected form the images on the site. The room in which we stayed was very generously proportioned, light and very nicely presented, as is the rest of the house. We were offered exclusive use of a bathroom next to the room, and also of a living room downstairs, we we didn't take up as we headed into Wymondham for the evening. The town is a small historic market town, with a number of options for eating out. We are at the Green Dragon, which offers traditional pub food with a good variety of daily specials. Sharon is a very friendly host, and I'd unhesitatingly recommend her b&b offering.

Very comfortable and perfect for a weekend getaway. We had to change our plans after a friend we were due to stay with fell ill, but Vanessa was very flexible and put us up for an extra night at short notice. Plenty of space nearby to walk the dog, felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but only 10 minutes drive to an enormous Sainsburys.

We feel the barn is really good value for money and is in a lovely quiet rural location. We decided on a last minute break to visit our children at UEA and this was good because we were allowed to take our dogs and they had plenty of space to move about. We also like it's quiet location.

What a fabulous Christmas we had in Tawny Barn. The photos don't do the barn justice. It's huge yet cosy at the same time, with great underfloor heating. The location suited us perfectly. Really rural setting yet only a short drive to the shops. Great for walks with the dog. The barn itself is so well equipped and spotlessly clean. Vanessa was great. She had left us bread, milk, butter, biscuits etc which was a lovely surprise. We had a little mishap during our stay but she was incredibly understanding!! Thanks Vanessa. Another 10/10 Airbnb experience.

We had a lovely stay at Vanessa's barn. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable! It is pet friendly which was very essential to us. We had dinners arranged and they were delicious! The location is also great, easy access to Norwich by bus and it has a lovely pub nearby. What a gorgeous area! Vanessa was very kind, helpful and patient. We will definitely return!

Laburnum Cottage is nestled in the small hamlet of Burgh Stubbs in the Glaven valley. Our cottage has two bedrooms and a wood burning stove for those winter evenings. We are within easy reach of Holt, Blakeney, Cley, Salthouse as well as the sea. Laburnum cottage is cosy and comfortable with a newly fitted wood burner for those winter evenings, as well as central heating. Also there are original features such as a Norfolk pamment (tiled) floor and wide wooden floorboards. You can relax in the lounge where there is a TV and DVD player or enjoy eating in the separate dining room. There are two double bedrooms, the main bedroom has original Arts and Crafts furniture and a period double bed and the other bedroom has adult twin beds, both rooms are large enough for the addition of a travel cot (which is provided if required). There is a fully equipped kitchen should you wish to eat in or numerous pubs serving excellent food a short drive away. Wifi is available throughout the cottage. Please read 'other things to note' below before making a booking. Guests have access to a television, DVD, wifi, washing machine, highchair, travel cot. There is also off street parking. A gas BBQ is available together with garden furniture during the summer months. I can be contacted by mobile or email throughout your stay. The good thing about Burgh Stubbs is that you can either relax in a quiet and beautiful country environment or explore the area visiting such places as Cley, Blakeney, Wells next to Sea, Holkham, and Holt to mention a few. If you enjoy walking then you can explore the North Norfolk coastal path which runs for miles with stunning views. For those who enjoy birdwatching Cley Natural reserve is a must and only six miles away as are Norfolk's wonderful beaches. If you are going to Norfolk it is advisable to go by car, because although you can reach our cottage by train and bus, transport links around Norfolk are limited. Minimum stay is two nights. Feather and down duvets and pillows are provided. Guests need to bring bedding, towels, tea towel and bathmat. Please remove all shoes when inside the cottage. Elderly people may find the stairs to the bedrooms steep - although there is a handrail.lire la suite

Arriving at Laburnum Cottage was like stepping to our own little piece of Norfolk countryside. It was a lovely visit of which the highlight was taking an early morning walk along the country lanes up to the church and back. Cows, horses, pheasants and rabbits greeted us as we passed huge hay bales. Idyllic. Deborah, whilst we didn't meet her, was only an email away and was prompt in her replies. She recommended the King's Head in Letheringsett for our first night there and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. As we were coming from abroad, Deborah ensured that bedding (very comfortable!) and towels were available to us. The cottage is exactly as described and the photos depict the place accurately. A gem in the Norfolk countryside!

Deborah was an excellent host. From the moment we booked she was in touch checking if there was anything she could do in advance to make our stay more comfortable (such as suggesting that we bring slippers which kept our feet cosy on the wooden floors) and warned us in advance of our arrival that we might need to buy more firelighters for the fire. During our stay she also kept in touch to check that all was ok, which it was. The house itself is a lovely period cottage with wooden floors and classic decor, and the fire, central heating system and electric blanket keep you cosy even when it's cold outside. The neighbourhood is very quiet - only a few houses in the hamlet - and so we had a restful stay. Had the weather been warmer we could have sat outside in the garden!

We all really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It's perfectly located for day trips to some fantastic beaches on the Norfolk coast. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Deborah was a fantastic host, very quick to reply to my messages, and was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Wonderful little cottage in a quiet, peaceful and beautiful area of Norfolk. The description of the listing was accurate, and everything is there which you could need on a short break. Host is very friendly, welcoming and informative, making the process of staying here very easy. We would happily return and I have loved using airbnb for the first time!

A lovely cosy cottage in a quiet location. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here when visiting relatives in Norfolk over the bank holiday weekend. It was great seeing hares in the fields surrounding the cottage and the wild poppies were out in force this year. A beautiful part of the country and well worth a visit.

We stayed at this lovely cottage for three nights to attend a wedding in nearby Holt. Deborah communicated brilliantly throughout the booking process / stay and everything was very easy for us as guests. The place is really nice with a lovely garden for the kids. Highly recommended.

Deborah's cottage is charming, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The area is a short(8 minutes) drive from Holt with its huge range of independent shops and the stunning coast. Deborah and John were exceedingly helpful, allowing us to check in an hour early and going out of their way to help when we (mistakenly) thought we had run out of wood for the wood burner! Communication was prompt and we had all the information we needed. We had a lovely and much-needed long weekend, with a couple of wonderful meals at the places Deborah recommended (dinner at the Dun Cow was amazing!) Thank you. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Only a few minutes walk to Norwich city centre and located to the north of the city, this house offers a double bedroom, large bathroom (with walk-in shower & separate bath), large kitchen, lounge and dining room. Sleeping 2 in the double room This is a lovely house just north of the city centre on a quiet residential street. Located in the 'silver triangle' rather than the super trendy 'golden triangle', there are shops at the end of the road and parks nearby. The town centre (accessed along the lovely and eclectic Magdalen Street) is only a 5-10 minute walk away and the lovely Norwich Lanes, Cathedral, Castle, Market and other shops are in easy reach. The house is a large terraced home with enough space to feel comfortable in, with a large living area and separate dining room, large kitchen and bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The house also benefits from a small paved garden to the rear. The guest double bedroom is at the front of the property and guests have full use of the downstairs of the house (living room, dining room, kitchen) and a bathroom with laundry room upstairs along with the guest bedroom Towels are included and some soap but remember to bring your own favourite toiletries If you have any issues during your stay please contact me and I will assist you as soon as possible. The Norwich Lanes (only 10 minutes walk away) are a great place to explore, with lovely delis (Amaretto, 16 St Georges St), a beautiful cinema (Cinema City, St Andrews Street) and the best chippy in town (Grosvenor Fish Bar, 28 Lower Goat Lane). The Cathedral Close is also a great area to get away from it all and the River Wensum provides a lovely way to see some of the sights (either from the towpath or from the water) There's also a small supermarket shop at the end of the road which is open from 6am-11pm and other smaller shops nearby The house isn't in the trendiest part of Norwich but it is centrally located and it really isn't far to get to places Buses routes are nearby (Magdalen Street) and serve the local area. The train station is approx a 25 minute walk. If you are driving then you'll need to borrow our visitor parking permit which we keep just inside the front door (8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Sat) We normally post keys to guests before arrival to give you the greatest flexibility in checking in, so I'll usually ask what address is best for you to send keys tolire la suite

This place is outstanding. It gets excellent light, is clean, cozy in a great area (with a Tesco half a block away, which is great), and his really a genuine home. There is a great garden in the back, and the kitchen is top-notch. Plenty of hot water and tons of things to watch on demand for free on the TV. I stayed for a week and was sorry I had to leave. Also, Thomas is extremely easy to work with and is fast with all communication. Double thumbs of for this place!

Thomas's house in Norwich was a fantastic Airbnb experience in every way. Tom was extremely helpful during the entire process, from providing lots of details before we booked, responding very quickly to all our messages and giving lots of great advice about the neighbourhood and Norwich. The house itself was lovely - very large, bright and spacious and spotlessly clean. It's on a quiet residential street but an easy walk into Norwich, which is a fascinating and (we think) underrated small city - great for a weekend (or longer) break. There's a friendly minicab office right around the corner and a mini supermarket just up the street. The house was extremely comfortable and really tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable bed, a huge bathroom and an even bigger kitchen. Thomas provided local maps, tips on local pub and even sample local beers to try. This was overall a superb Airbnb experience and we'd recommend the house very highly to anyone visiting Norwich.

Great communication with host, including swift messaging, flexibility on date changes and accommodating on key delivery. House is clean, beautifully decorated and conveniently located. With a Tescos at the bottom of the road and Norwich city center just 10-15 min walk away it's easy to get around. Visitors parking permit allows you to park on the street. Be aware there are a few steep tiled steps up to the house- if you have mobility issues you may have trouble. Other than that the house is great- huge kitchen and bathroom with nice deep bath and a double wide hob to cook on. There's a clear eco friendly vibe throughout the house and a consistent aesthetic in the artwork, colours etc. that gives it a relaxing feeling. Great Job! I would stay here again! Kate

Thank you Thomas. We had a great time at your home. We found the house clean and bright and enjoyed using the large and bright bathroom and shower as well as the homely kitchen. It was also nice to find that you were quite eco-conscious and artistic with lots of lovely inspirational word art on the walls. It was a delight to find the street leading to your house (Magdalene Street) full of antique, vintage and quirky object stores and found this more interesting than the high street shops. Thank you for sharing your home.

Tom and his wife were perfect hosts. This was the third time we rented his lovely house and as usual it was bright, clean and inviting. It is a great base for exploring Norwich and the surrounding areas. Only a 6 pound cab from the train station or a 5 minute drive if you have a car. Supermarket and restaurants all in a short walk too! During our stay, Tom and Rachel sent us a lovely organic goody pack which was a nice touch and made us feel extra special. Keep up the good work :)

Unfortunately we had to cancel this reservation at the very last moment because one of us was sick. But before that, Thomas was great at providing us with lots of local information and special events happening during our (planned trip). And he was great at arranging to pick up and drop off the keys at a time and place very convenient for us. It's a shame we didn't get to stay in the house, as Thomas seemed like a very welcoming host.

Spacious room on the ground floor of a period building. Set in a very central location in historic St Giles, 2 minutes walk to the market square and close to all amenities. Shared bathroom with separate toilet. The location is hard to beat, convenient for shopping, sightseeing and eating. Everything is in walking distance. Bedding is all natural fibres and 100% cotton sheets. A simple breakfast will be provided for those who would like it; coffee, tea, cereal, toast, fruit etc although it may be self service depending on breakfast time. Access to lounge and kitchen for preparing drinks but no access for preparing meals. Coffee and tea available. Wifi available. I'm always interested in meeting new people but respect their privacy and preference for solitude if that's what they want. I live on the premises but work and have a fairly busy schedule most of the time, however a chat over coffee is always welcome if the opportunity arises. You can walk all over the city centre easily from the flat. In my street is a lovely deli/doffee shop that does cooked breakfasts. The market square and the Forum are only a 5 minute walk. Chapplefield shopping mall has high street shops and House of Fraser and The Lanes have more independent stores as well as high street shops too. Pottergate and St Benedicts Street are good if you're looking for a coffee but you can find great places to eat and drink everywhere. You can walk to all areas of the city centre easily from the flat. There is a Tesco Metro about 5 minutes away. The station is the furthest being on the other side of the city centre and takes me 20 minutes to walk to. Depending on arrival time I may be able to pick guests up on arrival. One visitors permit is also available for on-street parking if needed, by prior arrangement please. The room is sold on a bed and breakfast basis. The kitchen isn't available for the use of guests at other times. Please confirm check-in time prior to arrival. This will normally need to be after 4pm.lire la suite

Definitely my best experience with Airbnb so far. The room is big, clean and with a very comfortable bed. The apartment is cute, always clean and in a very convenient position in the city centre, really close to the bus stop to the UEA. Clare was very nice and helpful, she welcomed me with a cup of tea and we had some chats and breakfast together. She also gave me some good tips to live in Norwich! :) Many thanks, Clare!

Clare was the most accommodating host throughout my stay. Happy to have a cup of tea and have me chew her ear off about life, the universe and everything but then leave me to my own devices when I wanted time to myself. The room was huge (the photos don't do it justice), full of light and clean, and the bed is insanely comfortable and big even for two people. Perfect way to relax during a long weekend.

Clare was amazing! Made us feel so welcome and guided us on all that Norwich had to offer. She had the room beautifully made up - it was like a home away from home. She's too cool - would recommend staying and meeting this awesome woman anytime! The room was clean and smelt great. We had no issues with coming and going as we pleased. She provided a sanctuary for us in a city we'd never been too. Will go again soon!

Located in a delightful part of the city which is within easy walking distance of the city centre and a quick bus ride to the University from right outside the door. Clare is a lovely, very welcoming host who gives you the freedom of the house and is very helpful but in an unobtrusive way. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Norwich for a short stay.

Clare's apartment is located perfectly for a city centre visit - the market and all the big shops are less than a 10 min walk. Clare made me feel like a friend visiting rather than a paying guest - I felt at home immediately. The room is large, warm and the double bed has high quality bedding and pillows - a detail that lets so many other places down! There is a large desk in the room for guests to use for a laptop or maps etc and wifi is available. Clare gave me a residents car pass for my stay which was a huge help too, as parking in city centres is so often a pain. Breakfast included some of Clare's home baked spelt bread - delicious.....

Clare was a very welcoming and accommodating host, taking time out of her day to meet us with the keys. The flat is in an excellent and beautiful location and, like others have mentioned, the bed was very comfortable. Clare was very respectful and we found it a very relaxing and pleasant experience using her home as our base during our visit to Norwich! Many thanks!

A lovely place to stay. Clare was friendly, welcoming and interesting, and invited us to make free with the fridge. Breakfast of toast, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt was accompanied by great, fresh coffee and fruit juice. The room and bed were comfortable and clean, with lovely bedding, and the whole place is airy and bright. The bathroom, which we shared with Clare, had a great shower. The location is central; restaurants and the city centre are walkable. We'll happily use Clare's place again when we come to Norwich.
