Only a 7 minute walk from Norwich station, so we left the car behind. Delighted with the accommodation and facilities. The location is just outside the cathedral precincts and with the street uncluttered with the motor car it is a unique place to stay. Thank you, Nigel and Toni Simpkins January 2016
We had an excellent stay over New Year's eve in this lovely house. Great location, close to the city centre and lots of restaurants and bars. The house was decorated beautifully and was impeccably clean. Communication with Graham was quick and clear and very informative. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Graham communication was friendly, clear and prompt from our first contact. When we arrived, it was a cold December night and the house was beautifully warm and the rooms lit up throughout. Everywhere was immaculately clean and we could see the love and care that had gone into every room. We came to Norwich for a family wedding and Cathedral house was everything we could have wished for. We were amazed at how quiet it was for the central city location, just the sound of church bells and birdsong in the morning! We will definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family who regularly visit Norwich.
Comfortable, well presented, great location. Had a lovely weekend using it as a base to explore a vibrant city. The multi story is best bet for parking and it's literally just over the road. Would recommend Storm in a Teacup cafe in town.
Beautiful house, great location for the city. Great hosts full of knowledge and helpful tips!
Very central location, just a five minute walk to near the castle and right by the cathedral, this townhouse also has lovely views of the cathedral from the bedrooms. Graham and i exchanged mobile numbers so we could keep in touch about our arrival and although he couldn't be there when we got there he made every plans that we could get in ok and checked in with us the following morning. He was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
This charming and well decorated house is in the perfect location for evening drinks, or dining out. In our case, just a girls trip to the city. Graham was a very informative and helpful host, and very flexible with checking in and out times on request. The house is cosy, with all the things you need for a short stay. We visited Rooftop Gardens, just a 5 minute walk away and we loved it! We didn't need to use one taxi or form of public transport during the stay as everything was within walking distance. Also, we highly recommend to eat at the Giggling Squid- a small chain Tai restaurant which is our favourite. All round a lovely stay! Thank you Graham and Collette
The house is perfectly located for the city centre, the castle and the cathedral. We had everything we needed for a great, relaxing weekend of mooching around the city, and Graham was always on hand to answer any queries. Highly recommended.

Graham and Collette's house is very cosy, in a great location and more importantly very clean. The place was exactly as described and well equipped to make the stay even more comfortable. Although we did not meet Graham, communication was great and very quick, and also kept in touch throughout our stay to check if we had settled in well or if we needed anything.

A lovely cabin, in a lovely area. We were greeted warmly, even though we had been delayed until quite late by the london traffic! The photos don't do this place justice, it really is lovely! Our first use of AirBnB, and I don't know how anywhere else could compare!
Lovely cabin and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
The Cabin was the perfect getaway while we were performing in Norwich. Cosy and welcoming on arrival with crumpets, milk and fresh orange juice waiting in the fridge. Debrah and Kevin were lovely host replying promptly to our messages and even coming to see our show which was very sweet of them. My young pup also enjoyed her stay very much. Couldn't recommended The Cabin more highly.
Myself, my two children and my mother enjoyed a wonderful stay at Kevin and Debra's cabin. It was so peaceful and quiet, set in very pretty surroundings. The cabin itself was beautifully done up.. and incredibly comfortable. Debra was a charming host and we can't recommend a stay here enough.
This brand-new cabin is spotlessly clean and attractively furnished. It sits in a beautifully cared-for country garden belonging to friendly hosts Kevin and Debra--if we had had better weather for our stay we'd have loved to take advantage of the outdoor cooking facilities! The cabin is handy for excursions to Diss, Norwich and the Norfolk Coast, or you can stay local and enjoy a walk across the fields to the pretty church and/or the local pub.
We came to Norfolk for a wedding and, after a long car journey, were delighted to arrive at our accommodation. It is beautiful; peaceful, spotless, spacious and well-equipped. The garden is lovely, too, with plenty of space and privacy to enjoy the views. Kevin, our host, made us extremely welcome and went out of his way to give us a lift to the wedding venue, and home again, which was very much appreciated. Lovely accommodation in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Highly recommended!
What a lovely couple. So accommodating, helpful and friendly. They had an answer to all our nagging questions and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
We were made to feel very welcome after a long journey. The cabin and gardens were perfect for our needs, spacious enough for a toddler to run around inside and out, and well equipped. Lovely peaceful rural setting.

The apartment was .exactly as it was described - really central, really clean and tidy! We were met by jimmy, who made us feel very welcome, and communication was great! A great expereince.
Fantastic apartment, close to city centre and train station and really beautiful place to stay. Hosts were fantastic, left the keys in a place we could easily get them and gave us more than enough information for our stay. Would gladly stay here again.
Everything was PERFECT!! We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!
The apartment was beautiful and well located to get into town. Jimmy showed us round and was friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Would stay again and recommend to anyone
We enjoyed our stay in Jimmy and Nicole's lovely flat. The location was good to explore Norwich by foot and the secure car parking was very convenient. The flat itself was just lovely. We appreciated the access to a washer/dryer, coffee machine, and the best shower in England! We could easily have stayed longer.
We stayed here for one night in April. The apartment is spotless and in a quiet location with secure parking. Jimmy met us as planned and was erg accommodating when we took advantage of the secure parking, whilst taking breakfast in Norwich. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Norwich.Just mind your head! Because this is a converted building, the original arches may prove to be a craniul challenge!
What an excellent booking. The building and the flat are to a top notch level of quality and facility. Really convenient location, really close to the beautiful river no a stroll into town. Made to feel really welcome and Jimmy and Nicole are rightly proud of their flat. A real gem of a building and somewhere I want to visit over and again. Description and photos fully accurate, facilities all lovely, a place to treasure.
Great communication from jimmy before our stay, he answered all my questions really quickly. Jimmy welcomed us and showed us around the apartment. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed and more! Great to have the parking space too. Location is fantastic, easy to walk to the town centre.

One night in Amber's bell tent made us not want to leave and wish that we had booked more nights. The surroundings and location added to the experience with the bonus of good weather! The tents were well presented, clean and so thoughtful. Along with the shop, sauna, showers etc we couldn't fault anything. Great experience for 2 but would definitely return again and maybe with a bigger group!
Lovely place, beautiful environment, great service and delicious cakes from the greedy goose! Great place to escape from the city!
We had a fabulous stay in Ambers bell rents, this was our first camping trip with a young baby and not even the rain spoiled it. Highly recommend these wonderful bell tents and Amber and her husband were fantastic hosts.
Wow, we were lucky - we got the whole campsite to ourselves - just by chance though, not by booking! The tents are fantastic and it's such a great setting - just a stones through from Mannington Hall. Amber met us personally and was very helpful. She was very relaxed and we were under no pressure to check out early so could leave leisurely the next day, which we took full advantage of. The fire pits are great and it's such a lovely tranquil environment to camp (glamp) at. Would really recommended and we hope to come again. Make sure you're not rushing around and have plenty of time to relax there.
We had the most amazing time in Kingfisher tent. We arrived late evening but everything was as Amber had described and it didn't take us long to get the camp fire started. Amber visited us to make sure we had everything we needed and we were relaxed from the minute we got there. Everything is provided so we travelled light. The weather was fine, and the lightening storm on Saturday evening was magical! We will certainly be visiting again!
We had a lovely relaxing weekend at Ambers campsite. It was our first time glamping and we loved it! All the fun of camping without the hassle of setting up and bringing equipment. The tent was lovely and snug and had everything we needed and some nice extras. The surrounding area is also really beautiful with pretty villages and pebble beaches. Amber was a great host, answering any queries swiftly and she even came to the campsite to check we had settled in. Highly recommended!
Amber made us feel very welcome! The tent was fab with absolutely everything you would need. Glam ping is definitely the way to go. And we will definitely be going back. The grounds of mannington hall were superb and facilities were spot on. The kids enjoyed the fresh air and the freedom to run around, even building a den in the forest near our tent. Amber suggested The Pigs in Edgefield for a good meal and she wasn't wrong. Amazing food and excellent indoor and outdoor play areas for kids. All in all a wonderful few days.
We had a fab time at Amber's Bell tents. The tents were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The ease of turning up with the tent all ready and beds made was lovely! We got the wood burner going immediately and it warmed the tent nicely. It unfortunately rained both nights, the second with lightning and thunder!! But we stayed completely dry all night and no water got in at all. This is perfect for those who want to camp but also want the holiday experience without hassle. There are a few lovely local pubs in case you feel you don't want to cook. The showers and toilets were cleaned daily and the walks around the area were gorgeous! Amber made a point of stopping by to make sure we had everything we needed and we were made to feel very welcome. We had a peak in the Shepherd's Hut and it was really sweet. Not quite big enough for the 4 of us, but we'd definitely give it a try if we returned just the two of us. Amber has thought of everything. The honesty shop has matches, tea lights, fire lighters, wood and charcoal. The lanterns were a little hit and miss so make sure you have enough torches. We loved the added touches like the hot water bottles (which were very appreciated!) and tea/coffee/marshmallow supplies. Thank you Amber!

Dina & Andy are such great host to us. My family felt right at home when we stay at your accommodation. It is the most beautiful Airbnb apartment that we have lived in by far. Thank you for sharing with us the route to the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the various attractions in Norwich. Also, we really took your advice and visited those places you have recommended in London as well. As shown in the pictures, that is exactly how her house look like. It's really comfortable and cozy for a family of 3 adults. Her home is near the train station so it is very convenient for us to travel too. It is near the city centre as well. I highly recommend Dina's and Andy's accommodation if you are thinking of taking a trip down to Norwich! They are such lovely host. Ps: Dina's cafe, The Tea Lounge sells amazing coffee and cakes too!
Ian In Cheol
Perfect. I will highly recommend Dina's house if you would like to experience best ever air b&b. The location is quite near from the centre and many of facilities in the house also are welcomed to use while you are staying in her house. Especially, the house is well-decorated by Dina and her husband Andrew so you would be also quite impressed by the interior of the house. My wife and I have been lucky to be here with respectable Dina and Andrew. Thank you.
Dina and Andy were very welcoming and friendly, lovely apartment and close to city. Will be sure to stay again next time we visit.
Quiet, serene and neat house, with a beautiful backyard and helpful hosts. An excellent initial impression for an AirBnB first timer.
The house is an icon of 60's architecture, inside it is decorated very tastefully; interesting & artistic. Dina welcomed me & my dog & i felt very welcome throughout my stay. The bed was lovely & comfortable; cotton bedding & feathers much appreciated. Plenty hot water. Peaceful location ideal for getting into city or to countryside.
Brilliant stay. Really comfortable. Wonderful to look out on such a pretty garden. So peaceful yet very close to centre of Norwich.
Wonderful experience in Norwich! The room is clean and sweet, Dina and Andy is warmhearted. We can enjoy breakfast in lovely garden! Love this house so much! If I visit Norwich next time, Dina's house will be my first choice!
A beautiful bright sunny room with private facilities and everything thought of. Dina is the perfect Airbnb host. The house is in a quiet and peaceful area of the city, but only a short walk to the centre, so has the best of both worlds.

Come and stay in a beautiful, Grade II listed house, right in the heart of Norwich, with all the wonderful amenities this historic city has to offer just a few minutes’ walk away. A double bedroom with private bathroom and own front door! Come and stay in a beautiful, Grade II listed house, right in the heart of Norwich, with all the wonderful amenities this historic city has to offer just a few minutes’ walk away. The property dates back to the mid 18th century, but has been fully refurbished so that it now offers a warm and comfortable place to stay, with all modern amenities. You will have the use of a beautifully furnished, private double bedroom with its own newly refurbished bathroom, on the ground floor of the house and, if required, the use of a parking space. The facilities are entirely self-contained and you will have your own front door leading out onto a remarkable square, overlooked by the great medieval church of St Michael at Coslany, one of the most elegant and beautiful of Norwich’s city centre churches featuring the best medieval flint work in the whole country. The square is very quiet and so are the neighbours, so it will be the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring. The house is a typical Norwich weaver’s cottage of Tudor construction, much restored and altered in the late-nineteenth century, but still retaining its great historic charm, and it provides the perfect opportunity to step back in history! The room is furnished with antiques and beautiful prints, the bed is a sturdy, all-day, comfortable double sofa bed, with freshly pressed linen. There are tea and coffee-making facilities, a small fridge and fresh fruit, biscuits, milk and bottled water will be waiting for you in the room. The bathroom, with a comfortable bath and shower, has underfloor heating and dimmable lights. There is free wi-fi and I live upstairs, so will be available to direct you to the best breakfast and coffee bars, restaurants, pubs, bistros, museums, theatres and art galleries in town, all within 5 to 10 minutes’ stroll. It's the perfect place to spend a week's holiday exploring Norwich or its surroundings, or to just come for a weekend, take in a Saturday night dinner and show, and a lazy Sunday stroll and gastro-pub lunch. Norwich is also perfectly placed for easy access to wonderful countryside, the amazing Norfolk Broads, and miles and miles of stunning unspoilt coastline. Contact me and I can provide you with any more information you need: I look forward to welcoming you to my home soon! Please note, a two-night minimum stay is preferred. As much or as little as requested by my guests. Everyone is different! The historic setting, the quite cul-de-sac location, no traffic, yet 5 minutes from the market square. You can walk anywhere. In cittá tutto é facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, e la rete di trasporti é comunque ottima.lire la suite
Elisabetta was really quick to respond and very helpful and friendly. Her place is perfect for exploring Norwich. It has everything you might need for your stay; a very comfortable bed, great shower and yummy healthy breakfast! I'm looking forward to staying again.
Lovely place - great location, quiet, lovely interior, good bed, great shower, nice breakfast things provided, the sort of place it's a pleasure to go back to at the end of the day. I'd love to stay there again, and hope to. Elisabetta was away, but her friend Anita couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming.
This is the second time that I have stayed at Elizabetta's place; the first time being in August 2015 As before, the accommodation proved first rate. I can only add to my last review, this being wintertime. that it was very well heated. I hope to visit this accommodation again in the future
Gorgeous place to stay. She had thought of everything. Location is amazing, facilities great, bed comfy. Thank you so much, would never stay anywhere else in Norwich.
We had a great weekend in Norwich, and Elisabetta's house is a wonderful place to stay. Warm, comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished in keeping with its grade 2 listed status. Great location, parking, and a friendly, warm welcome from Elisabetta. Perfect. Loved it!
I love staying here. It is quiet, peaceful, clean and comfortable. I have stayed a couple of times before and will be booking to stay here again. Elisabetta is lovely, pays attention to detail and most importantly, always willing to help. Thank you Elisabetta - I love staying at this wonderful 'sanctuary'.
As Elisabetta was away, her friend Anita greeted me as I arrived at the property. Anita was very welcoming and explained all the amenities of the house to me, and gave me directions to where the good restaurants were in the city. She also checked up on me in the week to see how I was getting on which was a really nice touch to the service. The accommodation itself was fantastic. Very comfy bed (you wouldn't even know it was a pull-out), the room had more space than you'd ever need and the decor really is one of a kind. Exposed beams and brickwork makes the room feel like home, without any of the sterility that can be felt in a hotel room. The bathroom is what you can expect from a 5* hotel; underfloor heating, a powerful and hot shower, and the shampoos, body wash and towels are provided. Another biggest draw to the house is the location. A stone's throw away from the city centre, it is situated in a fantastic square that is quiet at night and feels very safe. Elisabetta also provides a cafetiere, ground and instant coffee, a choice of teas, bowls, plates, cutlery and cereal. A mini-fridge also contains a pint of milk, orange juices and yoghurts which I thought was a very unique thing to find and I found myself using it quite a lot, so was very happy it was provided. And it was very very clean. All in all it was one of the best places I have stayed at on a city visit and if I'm ever in Norwich again, this would be the first place I'd look too book, everywhere else would look shoddy in comparison.
Elisabetta's gorgeous room was just a perfect place for us to city-tour Norwich and Norfolk coast! It looks just like the photos or even better, and everything was very thoughtfully presented. Quiet morning with the church view was such a lovely way to start a day as well. As Elisabetta was away during our stay, her friends very kindly helped us to settle, but Elisabetta totally made sure we're ok and also gave us nice tips about visiting wild seal colony. I'd love to visit Norwich again and her place for sure! :)

The room is perfect for one person or a couple as there is a double size bed. This is a very basic private room in prime location 5 minutes next to everything you need in Norwich city centre. NOTE: We have a brilliant/quiet 1 year old boy Nikko. :) Couple things guests love about my home -The room is very basic but it has all what's needed for short stay -The flat has a kitchen available to guests -The location is as good as it can be as located in city centre + 2 minutes from main bus station and Aviva building + 3 minutes from main shopping area + 10 minutes from Norwich cathedral Things guests do not like about my listing: - We do have a baby and sometimes during night he asks for some milk but as soon as he get's it (1 - 2 minutes) he is busy eating and falls a sleep again. We do not offer private parking space. ------------------------------------------------------------- The bedroom is equipped with a comfy queen size bed with new mattress, set of drawers and wardrobe. There is also a hair-dryer to save you having to carry yours. Bathroom with a shower which is located meters away from room is shared between us. I will provide towels and shower gel / shampoo. There are no pets in here. I will provide coffee, tea, milk and filtered water. Public street parking (limited time) and parking lots (for about 5 pounds per day) available in city centre. You have option to park a car for free from 6pm - 8am on Ber street. Guests will have access to the whole house Except our bedrooms and living room unless you stay for a longer time. Please note that there is not a lock on the guest door however I will never enter the room during your stay unless there is an emergency or you request it for cleaning. Please note that there are stairs in the house leading to second floor. The house is not suited to those with mobility problems. We will most likely be in the house when you are so happy to have a chat and provide recommendations, maps and travel stories. The neighbourhood is quiet during night but located in city centre. You can walk to the Cathedral in 10 minutes or the bars and restaurants in 2-5 minutes. Walk to the city centre shops in 5 minutes. There are also plenty of takeways in the area. If you want to go to the university then the bus stop is about 5 min walk from here. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and around 3 minutes from the bus station. There are also all main bus stops just 5 minutes from house. We love hosting people but for new members, before I can share my home with you, please ensure you have a photo on your profile and include a short message with a bit of information about yourself and what brings you to Norwich.lire la suite
Valdis and Eva are very friendly and open-minded as they are travel lovers as well. They have a quiet cute baby. I had no trouble having a good sleep during my stay. The location is ideally 3 minutes from the main bus station. Valdis also shared a traveling story with me, which captured my imagination.
Very nice place. Very nice family.
Eva and Valdis are friendly hosts. The room is setup professionally in terms of clean white towels, coffee making facilities, biscuits and shampoo and name it. The room is also right in the middle of the town centre. Had a pleasant stay. Thanks!

Valdis and Eva are very friendly and amazing people. They help me with the localization, things to do, places to visit, best cellular plan, best bank etc. I have been feeling like in my home...There is a family atmosphere in the air... About the room... The room have a very good location in the centre of the city. The bed is comfortable. The shower is perfect. The amenities are very good, especially the fast-internet. I strongly recommend them.
2nd visit here felt very welcome as the 1st time, very friendly hosts. Place is central to the city centre 5 minutes work to all the mall 1 minute away from Jon Lewis comfortable and clean room. recommended
The location of the apartment is ideal as it is just a couple of minutes walk into Norwich city centre and therefore close to all of the transport links. The train station which is just 10 minutes walk away. Ideal room for an individual or a couple. Valdis and Eva were amazing hosts. They made me feel very welcome and I couldn't have had a better experience really.
Valdis and Eva have been great hosts. They were able to accommodate me on a very short notice which I am very thankful to them for. House was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and room was cosy.
Prime location in the centre of Norwich. Parking easy to come by on the street outside for free (between selected hours) and plenty of 24 hour multi-stories nearby. Good sized room, clean property, pleasant hosts. Would stay here again

Our house is a short walk to the centre of the city, on a quiet street. The north of the city, where we live, has a variety of things going on, as well as an interesting mixture of people from different walks of life. We like meeting new people too! The room is light and airy. The window is south facing and looks out over our garden, a pleasant spot for breakfast on spring and summer mornings. The room has a comfortable double bed and a small desk. The bathroom is shared with us, but is next to the Air B and B room. Our house is about a fifteen minute walk from the centre of the city with its wide variety of pubs, cafes, restaurants, and shops. There is plenty to see and do within easy reach - riverside walks, cycle paths, parks, museums, art galleries, cinemas and exhibitions. Breakfast is included in the price; help yourself to cereals, toast, coffee (we have instant decaf too) and teas. We usually have fruit. You are welcome to use the kitchen as well as the TV and computer - Wifi is available throughout the house. Iron available - please ask. There is plenty of on street parking; you may need to buy a 'scratch card' permit (£1 a day) but talk to us about parking options as there is also some free overnight parking on the street. There are a range of pubs and takeaways close to our house as well as small supermarket, corner shops and parks. The train station is about thirty minutes walk away, the coach station a bit less. We are happy to help you with directions and advice about things to see and do in the area. We look forward to welcoming you to our house! Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to cook and prepare food - you might need to discuss timings with us in the evenings, though we usually cook quite early. There is also a television and computer with a guest account - if you need it please ask. If we are not around we can arrange access for guests at any time of the day, so are totally flexible about check-in times. Terri works from home sometimes but we are generally around in the evenings to chat and answer queries. Please have a look at our guide book details where we have listed things we think are interesting, affordable or worth seeing in our locality. We also have a cycle available to hire. Lock, helmet and panniers can be provided upon request.lire la suite
We had a lovely stay, the place was very cosy and clean!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay. The house is conveniently located - away from the noise of the city centre but only a short walk away from the amenities. It's a lovely, quiet property with a little garden. The room is a nice size, clean and tidy - as is the rest of the house. This was my first airbnb experience and I'd definitely want to give it another try, if this stay is anything to go by. Tim and Terri were very welcoming and friendly, encouraging me to really make myself at home and feel relaxed in their space. They were interested in chatting and learning a little more about me - which was lovely. Although I was only there three nights, by the end of my stay I thought of them as friends.
Excellent welcome as usual.
Tim y Terry fueron muy amables y cordiales, son unas fantásticas personas y ante todo encantadoras. Recomendamos 100% la estancia, fueron una gran ayuda y nos sentimos muy bien en su casa. Repetiriamos sin dudarlo!
Have stayed with Tim and Terri quite a few times now and each time I do it's like coming home!
Polite and welcoming in a comfortable room for good value.
Thank you for a lovely stay Lovely house and hosts . Very welcoming. Nice cuppa and chat on arrival Great room with comfy bed and pillows ! Everything you could need for a good nights sleep . Nice big clean shared bathroom . Nice and quiet . Help yourself to tea coffee and breakfast . Great place to stay . Will defiantly stay again if we are in the area.

Bed and breakfast in a double room, with a standard double bed, in a four bedroomed brick and flint cottage in Gresham. We are three miles south of Sheringham and five miles south west of Cromer and 5 minutes' walk from Chaucer Barn. Bed and breakfast in a double room, with a standard double bed, in a four bedroomed brick and flint cottage in Gresham. The bedroom is reached by a Norfolk winder staircase and there is a downstairs bathroom, which is rather dated but it all works. There is a shower via a mixer tap over the bath and fan heater, as it's a bit cold in winter! There is a kitchen and dining room and a large lounge with TV, DVD player and BT Vision box. There are woodburners in the lounge and dining room. We have a large garden which is slowly being tamed. Well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional cleaning fee of £15 for the first night, then £5 each extra night, plus a bit extra if more than one. We look forward to welcoming you to our home. Breakfast is included - muesli, porridge, shredded wheat and various other cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast, honey, home-made marmalade and jam, eggs from the neighbours' hens when available, tea, coffee, herbal tea. You can eat it with us or on your own, whichever you prefer. I can also provide packed lunches and an evening meal for an extra charge (£3.00 for a packed lunch, £7.50 for evening meal, usually vegetarian). We generally have wholemeal or soda bread and skimmed milk and yoghurt, so if you want white bread and semi-skimmed or whole milk and yoghurt, let me know and I'll buy them if I have enough notice. Plus if you want a specific cereal for breakfast and fruit juice or smoothie or anything else, if you give me enough notice I'll buy some. You may use the kitchen to prepare your own drinks and meals and you may use the washing machine overnight, as we are on Economy 7, but we have no tumble dryer. The mobile phone signal is weak in the house but we have wireless internet access. There is parking space in the front garden and a shed for bikes, plus plenty of tools, oil and a puncture repair kit should they be needed. I am happy to sit and chat but I can also leave you alone! Sometimes you may have to fend for yourself if I am busy, but I can show you where everything is. Gresham is a village near the north Norfolk coast, three miles south of Sheringham and five miles south west of Cromer, both coastal towns. We are also about a 5 minute walk from Chaucer Barn and a 10 -15 minute walk from All Saints, Gresham, so very handy if you are going to a wedding there. Gresham is handy for visiting stately homes - Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are within easy cycling distance. Holkham Hall is also nearby and Houghton Hall is about 30 - 40 minutes away by car. The area is also good for cycling (the house is on the National Cycle Route number 30, part of the Norfolk Coast Cycleway), seal watching at Blakeney, bird watching at Cley and walking the Norfolk Coast Path. There are also walks from the house. The nearest town is Sheringham, 3 miles to the north. Cromer is about 5 miles away to the north east. The Georgian market town of Holt is 5 miles to the west. Norwich is about 20 miles to the south. Gresham is very quiet - there are no pubs or shops. The nearest pubs are The Wheatsheaf at West Beckham, about a mile away, The Red Hart in Bodham or Roman Camp Inn in Aylmerton, both about 2 miles away, and all within easy cycling distance along quiet roads. All three pubs serve food, with The Red Hart being particularly good. The nearest shop is at Aylmerton, about 2 miles away. I have lots of leaflets on activities in the area and can advise you on running, walking and cycling routes. I have OS maps and walking books that you may borrow. The nearest railway station is at Sheringham, 3 miles away and bikes can be taken on the Bittern Line train to Norwich. A taxi from Sheringham to our house is around £10 - £12. Once a day there is a bus from Gresham to Cromer and one to Holt. Ideally you need your own transport for getting around, either by car or bike. Bikes can be hired from Black Bikes in Sheringham and Huff and Puff in Kelling Heath. Huff and Puff will also deliver the bikes to the house for a fee. (Black Bikes might do that as well, but I'm not certain.) Electric bikes can be hired from Electrifying Bikes in Cromer. The mobile phone signal is weak in the house but we have wireless internet access. Be careful if relying on GPS to get here in case you lose the signal. Also some GPS seem to direct guests a rather bizarre way. Best to look at a map to check. There are no street lights in the village, so it's good for star gazing.lire la suite
Anne was hugely welcoming. We arrived late having driven from Chester and Anne was waiting with a cup of tea. The bed was lovely and soft and comfy and Anne makes a delicious bowl of porridge. We had a lovely time chatting in the mornings and I would absolutely recommend her. We stayed for two nights, coming for a friend's wedding at Chaucer Barn and it turned out to be 2 minutes' walk on foot from Anne's home so I was able to pop back and change my shoes when the dancing started! Perfectly located. A wonderful, wonderful place to stay. Five stars for everything.
It was really great! Anne and Mark are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect for cycling around. We had a very nice weekend there.
Just spent 3 nights with Anne and Mark who made us very welcome, lovely couple with nice clean basic accommodation, would definitely stay again Ian and Val
Lovely room and host.
Anne was a great host. She was accommodating of my late arrival thanks to travel delays and when I arrived she showed me around and gave me all pertinent information. In the mornings she made sure breakfast was available and offered to make porridge. As for the room, it was very comfortable and nice. The bed was quite comfortable and I enjoyed getting some good sleep because of it. The rest of the home is nice and the tiny village of Gresham is quite relaxing, with the larger town of Holt being not too far. I would definitely stay here again, and I may do if Anne's room is available when I go back up to Norfolk.
We had a wonderful stay at Anne's & Mark's house. It is a beautiful old place, very unique, and kept in its simple but cosy style, (beautiful wood doors!) Anne and Mark were super friendly, easy with our late arrival time and very nice to chat with in the evening and during breakfast. Breakfast was perfect too- respecting all special wishes. :-) The country side is idyllic and close to the coast and neigbouring villages/small towns. We stopped at Anne's and Mark's place on our three day cycle trip - which was ideal. We even could lock our bicycles in their shed. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Thank you Anne & Mark!!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Gresham B&B on the 13th of August. Anne made us feel very welcome. She was a very easy going, relaxed host. When we arrived we were offered a warm drink and enjoyed a lovely chat about our day on the Norfolk Coast. We slept like babies in the comfortable, spacious guest room. In the morning Anne provided us with a delicious, healthy breakfast of muesli, home baked soda bread and freshly ground coffee. We left Gresham energised and well rested, and will definitely return when we travel to Norfolk from London in the winter.
Anne was a lovely host and very accommodating. Her house is a short 5 minute walk from Chauncer Barn which meant we could pop back if we needed to freshen up. Thanks Anne

We very much enjoyed the spacious, clean, comfortable and homely environment of the house. Jean and Nick made us feel very welcome and were great hosts. Unfortunately we couldn't spend more than just one night.
This was my second time in Jean's and Nick's place. Everything was perfect and I had a nice and relaxed stay there. Thank you!
Jean & Nick made us very welcome throughout our visit. Their home is immaculate and very inviting. There is nothing that Gavin & I can fault. The area for guests is large and tastefully decorated. Jean & Nick seem to really enjoy sharing their home with others. Thank you for making it special. We will not hesitate to recommend this location to anyone we meet on our travels.
Lovely few days stay with Jean and Nick. Very welcoming and strike a good balance of being friendly and letting you have your space.
Perfect Air b'n'b experience - the best I've had through this website. Can't recommend enough. Beautiful room in a beautiful house, everything was clean and the hosts were absolutely lovely. Will definitely be booking again if ever in Norwich.
The stay at Jean's B&B was perfect! Everything was tidy and clean and we had lots of space for our own. We also had a truly delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, juice and a variety of choices. Jean and her husband are very welcoming hosts and this B&B is a recommendation to everyone!
A beautiful house and lovely facilities. Jean is a lovely lady and a very accommodating host. Would happily recommend.
Our stay at Jean and Nick's place was simply fantastic. They are wonderful welcoming hosts that instantly made us feel at home. Their house itself is beautiful, immaculate and comfortable. The bedroom was spacious, well equipped and the bed super comfortable. I loved the decor and want these guys to decorate my own house one day!! ;-) We were pleasantly surprised by being offered not just a bathroom, but even a sitting room for our own personal use. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Best of all Jean and Nick were great company and just made the whole experience that bit better. Would love to go back and stay again. I cannot recommend this enough!

Shamus was one of the friendliest host I've ever met thru airbnb. Eventhough my plans changed last minute, he was perfectly fine with it. He was really thoughtful and asked me many times if I needed something. I got to know his daughter and his funny tastes in movies! Highly recommanded
Another week with shamus! Still very much enjoying my time here the local area is very nice too
This was my second time staying here. I will not hesitate to book again. Thank you Shamus for your hospitality.
I really was happy about my overall experience. Shamus is a kind and respectful host with a lovely home. I spend a week at this location and was very comfortable the entire time. The location is a little far from the city center but it helps that there is a bus stop only a few minutes away.
Perfect for what I was after. Kind and easy going host.
Perfect accommodation perfect host! Spent 8 weeks with shamus and was more than happy with this room. Would gladly stay again if i'm nearby. Couldn't recommend this place enough, you will enjoy your stay. Thanks again shamus
Shamus was really helpful and very practical about the arrival time, really helped me out. Room was exactly as listed and the neighbour hood was absolutely fine. Tesco locally is v handy and local pub offers meals (didn't avail).
Very welcoming. Neighbourhood fine.

Bright double room available with comfy bed and TV. Your own bathroom located downstairs. Walk to Tombland bars and restaurants or the Cathedral in 10-15 minutes. House has a dining room, fully equipped kitchen and nice back garden. On street parking available. Lovely playful cat Eric lives at the property. Three things guests love about my home -Without a doubt the number one attraction is my lovely playful cat Eric -The room is bright and spacious -The location- you can walk to the cathedral in under 15 minutes Three things guests do not like about my listing- -The Stairs are fairly steep and have a small tread as with all Victorian terraces -The house is not close to the university (20 min walk then 20 min bus) -Parking is on street and is very busy in the evenings The bedroom is equipped with a comfy double bed with medium firm double mattress (135cm x 190cm), two bedside tables, dressing table/desk, set of drawers, wardrobe, hair dryer, mirror and lamps. There is also a TV in the room. Please note there is now a more sturdy wooden bed in the guest room rather than the metal bed shown. The low dressing table has also been replaced by a desk so you can use it to work on. You will have your own bathroom with a shower which is located downstairs in the house (the bedroom is upstairs). I will provide towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toilet roll. I have a nice back garden with lots of flowers and a table and chairs which you are welcome to sit in and have a drink or meal (April-September). I have a long haired friendly cat who will be around during your stay. He loves meeting and playing with new people! My house is not suitable if you have a fur allergy. I will provide breakfast items for you to prepare yourself including bread, butter, jam, marmalade, cornflakes, porridge, coffee, tea and milk. Please note I normally keep the bread in the freezer to avoid wastage and give you a choice of types. There is free on street parking on the road (it is very busy in evenings so its a case of park where you can in the area). Please note that you need a permit which I will supply. Please see other info for important parking info. Guests will have access to the whole house except my bedroom and en suite. Please note that there is not a lock on the guest door however I will never enter the room during your stay unless there is an emergency. Please note that as this is a traditional Victorian terrace house the stairs are fairly steep. The house is not suited to those with mobility problems. Depending on your arrival time, I may not be around to meet you, but I have a key safe so can arrange for you to check in when I'm not there if that is more convenient. I am not normally about during the week as I work full time and often go to the gym, out for dinner etc... However, when I am home I am happy to have a chat and provide recommendations and help you with your plans. The neighbourhood is quiet but still very close to the action. You can walk to the Cathedral or the bars and restaurants in Tombland in 10-15 minutes or walk to the city centre shops in around 20 minutes. There are also plenty of takeways in the area. If you want to go to the university then the bus stop is about 20-25 min walk and the bus takes around 20 mins. The house is about a 5-10 minute drive from the train station and around 10-15 minutes from the bus station. Both will be around £5 in a taxi. There are also bus stops at both ends of the road. If you wish to walk, the train station is around 20-25 minutes and the bus station is around 30-35 minutes walk. Unfortunately my house is not suitable for guests travelling with children due to the steep stairs and is not childproof. Please note Airbnb does not allow bookings on behalf of other people (3rd parties) so if you would like to book for your parents, brother etc... They will need to create a profile and send the request from that account. I am really looking forward to hosting people but for new members, before I can share my home with you, please ensure you have a photo on your profile and include a short message with a bit of information about yourself and what brings you to Norwich. I will clean the room, change the bedding and clean your bathroom once per week. I will supply 3 sets of fresh towels per week. I keep the communal areas clean as and when needed. PARKING- please read! Due to recent changes with city parking I can no longer get an unlimited all day parking permit. If you are staying for 1 night I have a 4 hour permit which I can give you at check in which covers you from check in until the rest of the day. You will then need to rest it sometime between 6.30pm and 8am and it will cover you until check out at 12:00 the next day. If you are staying more than one night I have some single use one day permits you can use for the inbetween days so you can leave your car where it is during your stay if you don't want to use it. Unfortunately I can only get a limited number of whole day permits which I need to reserve for guests who need to leave their car during longer stays. I am therefore unable to provide these to one night stay guests who wish to arrive earlier or stay later. However you can park 3 minutes away without a permit so I can show you where that is to avoid you paying expensive city centre prices if you wish to explore for longer.lire la suite
Vicky is very nice and welcoming. Veryhelpful provided us with map and instructions. Room was lovely very clean and comfortable. Eric the cat is lovely overall very good host and would highly recommend.
Friendly host and a great place to stay. Thank you :)
A seamless, smooth experience. A lovely host and a wonderful cat to boot. Bingo!
Vicky was absolutely lovely, communicated well with us before our arrival and was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Our room was great and exactly as described, and the walk into the city centre wasn't too long. Eric the cat was also great to have around. In short, we'll definitely try to stay with Vicky again next time we're in Norwich.
Vicky is a pleasant hostess. The house is comfortable and in the quiet place. Here you will find everything you need for the traveler. The listing description is accurate, also you will be greeted by a friendly cat, Eric. Highly recommend. Thank you very much.
Vicky has a lovely home, nicely decorated and a nice comfy bed! Vicky was great at keeping in touch, prior to my arrival and also made sure everything was okay whilst we were there. She even let us know we could help ourselves to some breakfast if we wanted. Would recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in Norwich near the city centre or watching a gig at the epic studios. Vicky sent through very detailed notes on how to get in if she wasn't in etc, as well as some information on local restaurants which I think was a nice touch. Top Air B'n'ber! Thanks for our stay!
Nice, warm, neat and quiet home with a friendly cat. Easy to locate, short work into the City Center. Friendly host. Recommended

3 small, double rooms in a warm, cosy eco-home with a big heart. You will find yourself most welcome. There are takeaways of every type and shops at the top of the road. The city centre is only a short walk & the road is a cu-de-sac so it's nice and quiet. It's a small, warm home with a big heart. Optional breakfasts for a small extra cost are made with locally sourced organic ingredients and can cater for any dietary requirements. Toast, teas and coffee are on the house. Shared bathroom, kitchen and garden. Free wifi. I live at the listing and am available to help anyone staying to be as comfortable as possible. I'm self-employed and often work from home. I don't have a TV but can provide a screen for viewing DVDs and there's free wifi for watching I-player on your device. I simply love Norwich and enjoy sharing information about the many fabulous things available here. It's an ancient city, safe, clean and friendly. Wonderful independent shopping quarters take Norwich into the top ten shopping places in England. There are 2 cathedrals and many historical buildings for those interested in history and architecture. Lots of local bands and performers choose from a whole host of lovely venues. Over the years I've done extensive research into Norwich's eateries and indie cafes and have found some real peaches. The university (UEA) was voted the best quality of student life in the country. Plus we have peregrine falcons regularly nesting atop the second tallest cathedral spire in the country. There's also a huge permanent outdoor market and a stunning central building called The Forum which holds events that are usually free to watch or participate in. There's lots of public transport, regular buses, cycle lanes and places to hire bikes, plus many pedestrianised streets to give you a great walking/shopping experience. Norwich is a small city so you can walk across the centre in half an hour and discover it's quirky side streets and thriving community hubs. Free wi-fi, shared bathroom, kitchen, garden. Prices are per person. I'm contactable by phone/e mail and often around in my home should you need any help with anything. Eateries of every type at the top of the road, lovely independent cafes and shops. Norwich is a medieval city with a rich and fascinating history. One of only 2 Puppet Theatres in the country, 2 cathedrals, a huge outdoor permanent market in the centre of town and it's friendly, safe and welcoming. Lots of public transport and pedestrianised roads in Norwich. Prices shown are per person so if you bring a friend they will pay the same amount too.lire la suite
I had a lovely time at Anne's. She was very welcoming and her breakfasts are gorgeous. The room is very comfortable and the flat is well-located, 5 minutes away from the city centre. I would definitely recommend staying at her place!
Anne kept in touch with me before my trip and was there to welcome me. She made me feel 'at home' in her warm, comfortable house. The neighbourhood was very quiet but the city centre was easily walkable. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended overall!
Greeted at the door by the lovely Anne. The house was warm and cosy the bed was clean and comfortable.
Norwich was a nice surprise - a very beautiful and interesting city, and I'm sure my experience was even better because we stayed at Anne's place. She is a very friendly and lovely person, who welcomed and gave us the best stay we had so far through airbnb. The house is very cozy and near to the centre, and even though the bus stop is just around the corner, you can get anywhere in 10-15min just walking. And Anne's breakfast is delicious, I totally recommend it!
I stay at Anne's every week for at least two nights this autumn and feel very lucky to have her place as a home away from home. This time I was also suffering a terrible cold and cough and her ginger, honey, lemon cinnamon concoction was an excellent remedy. It was above and beyond for her to take care of me but definitely helped me get through my working days in Norwich.
Anne was very welcoming, friendly and generous. Her home was comfortable and calm.
Anne is a very welcoming, friendly and accommodating host, who worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. The chest of drawers in our room contained many small, thoughtful items a traveller might need: toothpaste, eye mask, maps, umbrella etc. The breakfast was filling and high on local, organic and fair trade ingredients which we also valued. Location excellent for exploring the centre of Norwich, so met our needs exactly.
I feel very at home at Anne's place and she certainly does her best to make me feel very welcome. She is full of positive energy and a delightful person to hang out with. I am a regular guest with her now and am very glad to have found her.

My elegant and stylish Georgian townhouse is situated on a residential main road in Wymondham, famous for its historic Abbey. A ten minute walk takes you to the town centre with pubs, cafes and riverside walks. Only 7 miles south west of Norwich. I am very pleased to share my home with you. The house dates from around 1800 and was originally a farmhouse. It has lots of lovely original features and large rooms with sash windows, typical of the Georgian period. Your bedroom is light, airy and large, on the first floor with a very comfortable king size bed. It's decorated with a mixture of vintage and contemporary furniture. Your own private bathroom with bath and shower is just next door across the large landing and for your private use. The house is decorated in muted Farrow and Ball shades and has a relaxing feel. There is a lovely patio and garden which is a real sun trap in summer. If the weather is nice, you can have breakfast outside. There is a private sitting room on the ground floor with TV which you can use and where you can have breakfast. Help yourself to tea and coffee at any time and relax with the papers over a leisurely breakfast. I will be on hand if you need me, but will generally be in and out of the house, usually in the garden or cooking! I live in the house but have my own space. I have a Welsh terrier puppy called Murphy who is very friendly and always wants to meet people! Wymondham is an old historic market town and is well placed to explore beautiful Norfolk with Norwich close by and the Broads and the scenic coast 45 minutes away. There are shops, pubs and cafes in Wymondham town centre, just ten minutes walk. Norwich is only 7 miles away or 15 minutes by car. We are conveniently situated near Kimberley Hall if you are attending a wedding or function there. Also nearby is the University hospital, the UEA, Lotus cars and the racing track at Snetterton. There is plenty of parking in our drive. The bus stop is very near the house and the railway station is fifteen minutes walk away with links to Norwich, Cambridge and London. The rate is £56per night for two people including breakfast. Enquire for single occupancy rates. I also have another bedroom with a king size bed which is across the landing from the main bedroom. This can be booked with the main bedroom and is ideal for friends or family joining you. Please note if you book this, you would all need to share the bathroom. Guests tend to book this if they are coming to a wedding with friends and family. The price is the same as the website. Please enquire if this may interest you. I am a keen cook and baker and you can try my homemade bread and jams at breakfast. There is a good selection of pubs and restaurants in town within walking distance.lire la suite
Sharon, our host was excellent. Greeting us with a welcome cup of tea and delicious home made muffins. The house was lovely, just as the description. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom, our own living area and television and wifi. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Lovely breakfast with home made confiture and a lovely touch, fresh figs, as we were over from Italy. We'd recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay in the area. For us Toffee the dog was a bonus!
What a fantastic host Sharon is - we arrived Friday night to tea and homemade biscuits. We were attending wedding on Saturday and needed to source a decent shirt - Sharon recommended a men's outfitter and crises averted! Wonderful scrambled eggs and sausages to soak up the hangover Sunday morning. Thanks to Sharon and Toffee the dog for making us all so welcome - we will return again when visiting area
Sharon was the best host I've stayed with and if I get the chance, I'd certainly return. Her home is charming without being twee. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Thank you so very much. Her Superhost status is well deserved, oh and did I mention she bakes her own bread which is delicious.
A really beautiful and comfortable home. Huge bedroom and bathroom with every possible need thought of. Lots of flowers around the house which I love. Sharon very warm and friendly - so a great experience. Thanks, Sharon.
We had a lovely stay over 4 nights with Sharon. She is a friendly, easy-going and helpful host. The house is lovely and the dog is friendly and absolutely no problem at all. Our room was well furnished, large and quiet, as the bathroom was too. Sharon provided excellent breakfast including home made bread! Highly recommended.
From the moment I stepped out of the car I was made very welcome. Invited in shown around. We chatted and I found Sharon to be most hospitable
We had a great 2 night stay with Sharon...her place provided the perfect spot for us to stay for a wedding nearby. She was very friendly and helpful when we arrived and all was as described (including a great breakfast!). We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Sharon's place.
As a first Airbnb experience, our stay was an ideal start. Sharon made us very welcome in her lovely period home, which was larger than expected form the images on the site. The room in which we stayed was very generously proportioned, light and very nicely presented, as is the rest of the house. We were offered exclusive use of a bathroom next to the room, and also of a living room downstairs, we we didn't take up as we headed into Wymondham for the evening. The town is a small historic market town, with a number of options for eating out. We are at the Green Dragon, which offers traditional pub food with a good variety of daily specials. Sharon is a very friendly host, and I'd unhesitatingly recommend her b&b offering.

Second visit to the barn and equally as great as the first time, Vanessa is a great host and this is a great property.
We had a fantastic trip and stayed in Vanessa's very spacious and airy barn. It was really peaceful and everything we needed was there. Would've been nice to have stayed longer! Our dog Frank loved it too.
We had a lovely couple of days at Tawny Barn - it is a spacious, light and cosy property in a secluded rural location which is also very close to routes with easy access to Norwich, Swaffham and surrounding areas. Vanessa was both warm and efficient and on request made a delicious meal for us to arrive to. The property is very clean and comfortable and retains its original character while offering modern facilities. A very happy stay.
We had a lovely stay in Tawny Barn. It is situated in a beautiful part of Norfolk. We needed somewhere close to Norwich for family visits and with enough space for our one year old to burn off energy. This place fitted the bill perfectly and Vanessa was very hospitable, providing a cot and high chair.
I have stayed here a couple of times now when traveling with work. This is a fantastic place set within the relaxing countryside. Very clean and tidy and works out cheaper than staying in hotels. Would recommend for anyone wanting a holiday or travelling with work.
Such a lovely place to stay. Had everything we needed. Our dog loved the space too. It was fab to arrive to bread, milk, butter, jam etc etc. Will definitely visit again. Food at the Ugly Bug Inn was fantastic and only a few mins drive away.
We had a fantastic stay at the barn. It was beyond our expectations. Clean and spacious. It had everything you could need when you came away. The location was quietly beautiful and still in reach of shops if required. Vanessa was helpful and laid back. We didn't want to come home and we've recommended this stay already. Thank you. We'll be back.
A thoughtful & genial host, the apartment was spacious and well suited for us to stay with our 7 month old daughter. Would recommend.

Laburnum Cottage is nestled in the small hamlet of Burgh Stubbs in the Glaven valley. Our cottage has two bedrooms and a wood burning stove for those winter evenings. We are within easy reach of Holt, Blakeney, Cley, Salthouse as well as the sea. Laburnum cottage is cosy and comfortable with a newly fitted wood burner for those winter evenings, as well as central heating. Also there are original features such as a Norfolk pamment (tiled) floor and wide wooden floorboards. You can relax in the lounge where there is a TV and DVD player or enjoy eating in the separate dining room. There are two double bedrooms, the main bedroom has original Arts and Crafts furniture and a period double bed and the other bedroom has adult twin beds, both rooms are large enough for the addition of a travel cot (which is provided if required). There is a fully equipped kitchen should you wish to eat in or numerous pubs serving excellent food a short drive away. Wifi is available throughout the cottage. Please read 'other things to note' below before making a booking. Guests have access to a television, DVD, wifi, washing machine, highchair, travel cot. There is also off street parking. A gas BBQ is available together with garden furniture during the summer months. I can be contacted by mobile or email throughout your stay. The good thing about Burgh Stubbs is that you can either relax in a quiet and beautiful country environment or explore the area visiting such places as Cley, Blakeney, Wells next to Sea, Holkham, and Holt to mention a few. If you enjoy walking then you can explore the North Norfolk coastal path which runs for miles with stunning views. For those who enjoy birdwatching Cley Natural reserve is a must and only six miles away as are Norfolk's wonderful beaches. If you are going to Norfolk it is advisable to go by car, because although you can reach our cottage by train and bus, transport links around Norfolk are limited. Minimum stay is two nights. Feather and down duvets and pillows are provided. Guests need to bring bedding, towels, tea towel and bathmat. Please remove all shoes when inside the cottage. Elderly people may find the stairs to the bedrooms steep - although there is a handrail.lire la suite
We had a lovely stay thank you, the cottage was gorgeous as you described and felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for our days out, and the good weather was a bonus-we visited the beaches, went crabbing and visited Bewilderwood and Dinosaur Adventure land, and used the only rainy day we had to visit Norwich. Thank you again for making the cottage so comfortable for us. We will recommend your cottage to our friends.
We all really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It's perfectly located for day trips to some fantastic beaches on the Norfolk coast. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Deborah was a fantastic host, very quick to reply to my messages, and was extremely helpful and accommodating.
A lovely cosy cottage in a quiet location. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here when visiting relatives in Norfolk over the bank holiday weekend. It was great seeing hares in the fields surrounding the cottage and the wild poppies were out in force this year. A beautiful part of the country and well worth a visit.
Deborah was very helpful, flexible and welcoming. It must be slightly nerve-wracking letting such a special house to strangers - it's as lovely as it looks in photos - but she achieved an admirable balance of on-call and hands-off! The house, as well as being beautiful and comfortable (great mattresses!), is equipped with good cooking gear and practical bits. It would be a lovely place to stay for a whole week. The location is fantastic: inland enough to feel like countryside; close enough to beautiful bits of the coast for a seaside holiday. Brilliant area for foodies. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
Lovely cosy cottage! Exactly as described. Nice peaceful location! Information clearly given and good communication! Would definitely recommend the cottage!
We had a lovely stay in Deborah's cottage. It's a nicely furnished, comfortable cottage, with good sized bedrooms, in a peaceful area. We were lucky to have lovely weather, but it was cold at night - the heating warmed the cottage efficiently, and we enjoyed the wood burning stove and electric blankets. We enjoyed walks straight from the cottage, and it was a twenty minute drive to our favourite beaches at Holkham and Wells. Deborah communicated with us before, during and after our visit to give us instructions and make sure we had everything we needed. She kindly let us leave a bit later than planned on the day we left.
We had a great couple of days at the cottage which was perfect for us. The location was idyllic and peaceful and the cottage itself was full of character and beautifully furnished in keeping with the age of the building. The location is perfect for exploring north Norfolk and Deborah was a good host giving us all the attention and information we needed when we needed it. We would happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere in Norfolk. Graham
We had a lovely stay at the cottage - it was the perfect escape from the chaos of London and surrounded by incredible countryside. Lots of great places a short drive away. The cottage is wonderful, very cosy and quiet. Very thorough welcome pack! Thank you very much Deborah!

Only a few minutes walk to Norwich city centre and located to the north of the city, this house offers a double bedroom, large bathroom (with walk-in shower & separate bath), large kitchen, lounge and dining room. Sleeping 2 in the double room This is a lovely house just north of the city centre on a quiet residential street. Located in the 'silver triangle' rather than the super trendy 'golden triangle', there are shops at the end of the road and parks nearby. The town centre (accessed along the lovely and eclectic Magdalen Street) is only a 5-10 minute walk away and the lovely Norwich Lanes, Cathedral, Castle, Market and other shops are in easy reach. The house is a large terraced home with enough space to feel comfortable in, with a large living area and separate dining room, large kitchen and bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The house also benefits from a small paved garden to the rear. The guest double bedroom is at the front of the property and guests have full use of the downstairs of the house (living room, dining room, kitchen) and a bathroom with laundry room upstairs along with the guest bedroom Towels are included and some soap but remember to bring your own favourite toiletries If you have any issues during your stay please contact me and I will assist you as soon as possible. The Norwich Lanes (only 10 minutes walk away) are a great place to explore, with lovely delis (Amaretto, 16 St Georges St), a beautiful cinema (Cinema City, St Andrews Street) and the best chippy in town (Grosvenor Fish Bar, 28 Lower Goat Lane). The Cathedral Close is also a great area to get away from it all and the River Wensum provides a lovely way to see some of the sights (either from the towpath or from the water) There's also a small supermarket shop at the end of the road which is open from 6am-11pm and other smaller shops nearby The house isn't in the trendiest part of Norwich but it is centrally located and it really isn't far to get to places Buses routes are nearby (Magdalen Street) and serve the local area. The train station is approx a 25 minute walk. If you are driving then you'll need to borrow our visitor parking permit which we keep just inside the front door (8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Sat) We normally post keys to guests before arrival to give you the greatest flexibility in checking in, so I'll usually ask what address is best for you to send keys tolire la suite
Lovely house. Brilliant host with great communication. Will definitely recommend!
Tom and Rachel have a lovely home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Great location, lots of space and very clean plus welcome treats on arrival. I would definitely stay again if I am in Norwich again.
Very welcomed Top score
Tom and Rache's house is just gorgeous. It's light and airy and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for us staying with our baby son for the weekend as there are children's toys and books there too. There are also several parks within walking distance as well as the city centre. A real home away from home :-)
You will be the lucky traveler to be invited into this charming young family's home. A wonderful welcome basket full of goodies (including a lovely bottle of wine), an area map, and detailed information about anything you may need greets you in the kitchen. Thomas has been in touch early and often, so communication is easy and frequent, if needed. Lovely neighborhood...up and coming with many young (URL HIDDEN) easy walk to anywhere, and a charming back garden to enjoy, and nibble from! 5 stars all the way. I'd love to return.
A brilliant first experience with air BnB! We will definitely use it again. A fantastic house, with more than we expected. Easy to find, clean and comfortable. Contact with the host was very easy and made us feel at home right away. Would definitely recommend!
Tom and his wife were perfect hosts. This was the third time we rented his lovely house and as usual it was bright, clean and inviting. It is a great base for exploring Norwich and the surrounding areas. Only a 6 pound cab from the train station or a 5 minute drive if you have a car. Supermarket and restaurants all in a short walk too! During our stay, Tom and Rachel sent us a lovely organic goody pack which was a nice touch and made us feel extra special. Keep up the good work :)
Unfortunately we had to cancel this reservation at the very last moment because one of us was sick. But before that, Thomas was great at providing us with lots of local information and special events happening during our (planned trip). And he was great at arranging to pick up and drop off the keys at a time and place very convenient for us. It's a shame we didn't get to stay in the house, as Thomas seemed like a very welcoming host.

Spacious room on the ground floor of a period building. Set in a very central location in historic St Giles, 2 minutes walk to the market square and close to all amenities. Shared bathroom with separate toilet. The location is hard to beat, convenient for shopping, sightseeing and eating. Everything is in walking distance. Bedding is all natural fibres and 100% cotton sheets. A simple breakfast will be provided for those who would like it; coffee, tea, cereal, toast, fruit etc although it may be self service depending on breakfast time. Access to lounge and kitchen for preparing drinks but no access for preparing meals. Coffee and tea available. Wifi available. I'm always interested in meeting new people but respect their privacy and preference for solitude if that's what they want. I live on the premises but work and have a fairly busy schedule most of the time, however a chat over coffee is always welcome if the opportunity arises. You can walk all over the city centre easily from the flat. In my street is a lovely deli/doffee shop that does cooked breakfasts. The market square and the Forum are only a 5 minute walk. Chapplefield shopping mall has high street shops and House of Fraser and The Lanes have more independent stores as well as high street shops too. Pottergate and St Benedicts Street are good if you're looking for a coffee but you can find great places to eat and drink everywhere. You can walk to all areas of the city centre easily from the flat. There is a Tesco Metro about 5 minutes away. The station is the furthest being on the other side of the city centre and takes me 20 minutes to walk to. Depending on arrival time I may be able to pick guests up on arrival. One visitors permit is also available for on-street parking if needed, by prior arrangement please. The room is sold on a bed and breakfast basis. The kitchen isn't available for the use of guests at other times. Please confirm check-in time prior to arrival. This will normally need to be after 4pm.lire la suite
Clare made me a cup of tea as soon as I arrived, and was very nice to chat with. And the bed is extremely comfortable!
Clare's flat is in an excellent location on the edge of the city centre. It's a lovely modern flat (in an old building) with heaps of character, lovely high ceilings and abundance of natural light. The shower is great and the bed is extremely comfortable. Clare is a very friendly host who strikes the right balance between giving her guests space and being there if needed (or just to chat to). Her coffee is pretty good too! Highly recommended.
A lovely place to stay. Clare was friendly, welcoming and interesting, and invited us to make free with the fridge. Breakfast of toast, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt was accompanied by great, fresh coffee and fruit juice. The room and bed were comfortable and clean, with lovely bedding, and the whole place is airy and bright. The bathroom, which we shared with Clare, had a great shower. The location is central; restaurants and the city centre are walkable. We'll happily use Clare's place again when we come to Norwich.
I found Clare both pleasant to speak to and helpful. She made every effort to see that I was comfortable and settled in and I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights in her company. The room was clean and spacious with lovely high ceilings but most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable allowing me to have a great nights sleep. In terms of location this place cannot be beaten. It sits on the corner of a nice, quiet and quaint road two steps from the center of Norwich. From here you have easy access to explore the historical sites, eat in the many restaurants or visit the pubs scattered about. I would definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Norwich. You can't go wrong!!
Clare was a very welcoming and accommodating host, taking time out of her day to meet us with the keys. The flat is in an excellent and beautiful location and, like others have mentioned, the bed was very comfortable. Clare was very respectful and we found it a very relaxing and pleasant experience using her home as our base during our visit to Norwich! Many thanks!
It was my first experience of using Airbnb and I loved it.. My host made me feel very welcome and I soon came to feel very 'at home' in her home...The room I used was spacious and comfortable.. The bathroom toilet and kitchen were all on hand and fine..A simple but very welcome breakfast was there for me each morning...I really loved my stay and say a great big thank you to Clare.
Clare house was spotless, very central and incredibly tidy. Clare has been friendly, yet respectful of my spaces. So far, it has been one of my best experiences on AirBnB.
