Lodging
“From this beach you can see over to Pine Point beach. Also good for kayaking and paddle boarding with access to the Scarborough marsh. Peaceful place. This is my absolute favorite dog friendly beach. Mainly locals so usually not crowded. April 1st -August 31st plovers are nesting so the dog area is to the right side of beach. Before 9am dogs are allowed off leash with voice control. After 5 pm dogs are allowed with leash. This is a beautiful place to watch the sunset or sunrise. Also free to park during doggie allowed hours above. September through April is wide open and still incredible views ”

“This is where you go to get the pre-cooked lobsters and steamers (which are clams steamed in their shells). This is also owned by the local foodie celebrity couple. Also walkable, but a bike may be better.”

“EAST GRAND AVE LOBSTER CO. Mark, the owner, lives a couple houses down the street. You will see a sign in his yard and a big "OPEN" flag. His card is on our table. Call his cell phone and he will steam his daily catch for you. Simply walk next door and pick it up. Very reasonably priced!”
