“It reminds me of the bodegas I frequented in Brooklyn, the prices are reasonable for a tiny "oops-i-forgot-waffle-mix" corner mom and pop, and they make a mighty fine sandwich. The sandwich is the star of the show, even though they carry fine wines, beer, and enough of a cheese and meat selection to pull together a last-minute charcuterie plate. My husband and I shared a Bronx Bomber (made with pastrami) and a Brooklyn Rueben (made with corned beef). Both hit the spot. And those aren't the only hot sandies they have. Ask for a recommendation. The friendly guy at the front is a good spokesman-borderline-evangelical for their sandwiches. I, for one, can't wait to go back.”
