Farm
“Riverdale Farm is a small farm in the Cabbagetown neighborhood just along the western side of the Don River. Perfect for all ages, the farm has goats, horses, pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens, and more, all of which are older breeds not found on commercial farms. Farmers are onsite doing chores daily, and love to answer questions and meet new people. Free to the public and open all year long, including weekends and holidays, from 9a.m. to 5p.m. daily.”

“25 Minute walk. Great brunch! A bit pricey, but the food is good. There's always a line at this place and they don't take reservations, so definitely go before 10am if you can, and be ready to wait outside in the cold if you go after 10am (even if you go before sometimes). Their side waffle is V yummy! ”

“5 MIN WALK - This was one of the 1st pizzerias that hit the Toronto food scene with their wood fired certified neapolitan style pizzas. Always good and consistent food and great service too! They have a weekday lunch special available until 6pm - an app, margarita pizza and dessert for $20! You can't beat that !”

Ice Cream Shop

“Amazing home made ice cream, gelato and frozen yoghurt. They make season flavours that are fantastic, I wait all year for their fall pumpkin icecream, doubled with the sweet cream flavour. Delicious. The staff is super friendly and patient with the hordes that come in. Small space to eat inside, a couple of benches outside or you can sit in the park nearby or wander the interesting street.”

“A charming dog-friendly alley way brewery with great atmosphere and selection of delicious beers. We love to walk over (20 minutes) and stop in here for a pint on our way to little India for dinner. I love sour beers I drink any one I can get my hands on, for sours I would recommend the BANG-BANG or Cactus League at Left Field. ”
