Découvrez Seattle à vélo électrique
We ride electric bikes, these are fat-tire RadPower Mini’s and step-thru Mini's, they are accessible for almost all riders. Must be 16 years old to operate the electric bike. Although the electric motor helps a lot with Seattle’s hills, you do have to pedal. At times, it can be the exercise equivalent of a brisk walk and on other points along the route it’s a pleasant stroll. Some riders may find the bikes and terrain a challenge. If you are an active bike rider you will have no problems with the electric bike. First stop is at the Olympic Mountains and Sound Viewpoint, here I give an overview of the waterway and the geology of Seattle. We travel through the Ballard Locks and visit the fish ladder. Other options include the Fremont Troll, Gasworks Park, and Fishermen's Terminal. There are ways to customize the routes whenever possible. Other things to note: First part of the tour is learning how to ride an ebike. There are bags on each bike for caring personal items. Wear bright colors to increase visibility. Sunglasses are also handy. On this tour we can social distance and be outdoors. We can easily maintain a safe distance between riders while traveling between sites and on stops. Bikes are sanitized between riders.
Six femmes : visite historique de Seattle
A Native Princess, Gay Icon, a Swindler, a Zealot, a Madame, and a Mayor! My new tour follows in the steps of six, unique women whose paths overlapped in the Pioneer Square area over the last 200 years. Some of the women were inspirational, some despicable. Some were masters of their destinies, others were victims of fate. Stand where they once stood. Adult themes and language. Trigger Warning: Addiction, suicide, prostitution, dated and foul language.

Mount Saint Helens Summit
Join us for a day packed full of action and adventure on this iconic volcano! Permits for St. Helens sell out within HOURS each season, so leave it to us to provide the permits, get you to and from the mountain, and up to the crater rim. Starting from the trailhead we will ascend through dense old growth forest and huckleberry bushes. At treeline we will begin to ascend Monitor Ridge, scrambling over huge volcanic boulders. The final push to the summit is steep and challenging, but well worth the reward on the crater rim. There you will enjoy a stunning panorama of the surrounding area and witness the power of the blast from 1980. Other things to note This adventure is a FULL day, and you should be in adequate physical condition to attempt the hike.
Kayaking and wildlife viewing along pristine coast line
Kayak with us along one of the most scenic shorelines in the world, filled with gorgeous beauty and incredible wildlife. Beginners are welcome, since we only kayak in good conditions along the shorelines of Samish Island or Chuckanut Mountains in very stable kayaks, and only when wind and tide conditions are ideal. You will be surrounded by eagles, seals, herons, other sea birds, and porpoises. Kayak amidst giant kelp beds and marvel at arching Madrona trees, towering cedars and islands on the horizon. We take a break on a secluded beach for refreshments. Steve will demonstrate primitive fire making with a bow drill to start a fire for heating up hot drinks. You can try your hand at starting a fire it if you like. After your kayaking experience, visit one of the famous local eateries in Edison, known as a foodie paradise. Depending on wind, weather and tides, we might change the location of the trip, but it's all within 20 minutes of our advertised location. Please keep in mind that weather conditions might require us to cancel. In this case you will get a full refund. If you are looking for a place to stay overnight, we also have an Air B and B you can rent. The link for that is here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/51889563

Plant Based in Pike Place Food Tour
Plant-based eating shouldn’t have to be a sacrifice. Too often restaurants overlook the opportunity of plant-based cooking, leaving vegans with a disappointing choice between salad or french fries. This tour fixes that. We curate a vegan tasting menu of the most delicious foods available in Pike Place Market, serving them alongside relevant stories from the history and culture of the Pacific Northwest. You surely don’t have to be vegan to enjoy this food tour! The Market is for everyone, but it can be overwhelming for newcomers. We provide an insider’s perspective on the who, what, when, why and how of Seattle’s historic farmers’ market, so by the time the tour is over, you won’t need a guide to continue exploring. Don’t forget your appetite! We visit 10 of the Market’s most beloved food stops, enjoying 12 unique tastings that put on display the best that plant-based eating has to offer. We work hard to make this tour accessible to everyone. Let us know ahead of time about any food allergies or mobility concerns.
Cueillette urbaine à Capitol Hill
Learn how to identify edible native and invasive plants in the Pacific Northwest. Starting at Black Hole Sun in Volunteer park, I will guide you through one of the prettiest neighborhoods in the city. I'll teach you about best practices in foraging, acknowledge the indigenous stewards of the land, and help you identify some of the most common plants that you can harvest on your own. Along the way, we'll talk about the unusual geology that makes Seattle what it is, spy on street cats, and cover some of Seattle's strangest history. Every attendees leaves this trip with a handful (or more!) of something wonderful we've found along the way. Depending on the season, it could be fir tips, feral apples, herbs, flowers, or nuts. While I am not an herbalist, chef, or doctor, I'm happy to share ideas for preparing what you find, and traditional uses for herbs we come across.
