If you are into music and musical instruments, this is a must. The museum is placed in a botanic garden and the views are amazing.

Ladestien is well known for relaxing, bathing (in the summer, some also during winter!), bird watching, jogging and walking. It is also the best place for watching the Northern lights/Aurora borealis.

The museum shows ancient farm houses and city houses and give a good insight in how Norwegians lived hundred of years ago. My grandfather used to work here and demonstrate traditional wood techniques.
