This park is over 400 acres of unspoilt parkland. Great for walks, tree climbing, and picnics. There's a brilliant treehouse and play area for kids. Open all year round - but the house is only open certain days, so check their website if you want to see the historic property too.

The grounds at Guildford Castle were opened as public gardens in 1888 to mark Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. They are in the centre of town and well worth a visit if you are out shopping or having lunch. The gardens are small but really pretty and free to enter - there is a small charge if you want to visit the Castle Keep.
