Impressive falls located right in Hilo. Particularly spectacular after there's been a lot of rain. Walk along the path to the top to check out the Boiling Pots...but stay on the side up there.

A wild black sand beach carved into a cliff face. Tremendously pretty. Can be rough as it's open ocean...don't swim if no one else is swimming.

Spectacular views of the valley below. You can continue down this 25% grade road into the valley if you've got 4x4, or are willing to walk. It's a mile down to the beach and there are waterfalls etc.
