For a small, local museum, this one is well supported by the community and has great permanent and visiting exhibits. Well worth the time and an easy walk from Casa Azul.

Where else can you take a tram and go up 8000 ft. and through multiple eco-zones to the top of Mt. San Jacinto? You've got to do this at least once or your PS visit is not complete.
