Med sin centrale placering og udkig til Københavns havnefront er Havnebadet Islands Brygge et oplagt sted at tage sig en sommerdukkert. Hovedbassinet er 75 meter langt, og til børnene findes to bassiner, et soppebassin og et lidt dybere børnebassin.
Havnebadets udspringstårn er blevet et vartegn. Formet som stævnen på et skib tårner det sig op, og her kan vovehalse prøve kræfter med tre- og femmeteren, mens de mindre vovehalse kan tage hoppet på en meter. Der er ingen omklædningsrum, men 100 meter henne ad kajen findes offentlige toiletter.
