Easy to stop on the way home from Newkirk station. Not the best meat selection but the prices are good and the staff is friendly. Plus they carry Magic Hat (the ShopRite does not).

Great whiskey bar, rotating draft beers. Nice outside patio. Live music in the basement. The front-end is a flower shop Wed-Sun so the special at the bar is $10 for a pint and a pretty mini-bouquet.
