Great for evening drinks. They have an outdoor heated patio with views of the bay bridge. Their happy hour (all day) deals are awesome -- $5 drinks and pizzas for $7. Best deal around.

Local corner store just a block away. Beer, wine, groceries, and all the basics. Not the cheapest prices but super convenient. Great salad bar.

Sightseeing
Highest point in the NE corner of SF. Amazing panoramic views. Also a great run from our place. It's ~4 miles if you run down Embarcadero, up Coit Tower, and back. Beware: there are lots of stairs!
