One of many in the city, the La Boulange in Hayes Valley is always busy. Coffee, Tea, Breakfast, Lunch, Pastries... They have it all. I come here about twice a day.

Honestly, this little gem of a restaurant is my favorite Italian spot in SF. Everything is so delicious! And inexpensive. I am in love with it and could spend any chance I have eating here.

Marlena's is an old timey SF gay bar with stiff drinks. They have a drag show Friday and Saturday nights, so get their early to grab a spot.

I always walked by Sugar and just wrote it off, but I came in the other night and had such a great time (and drink!). They have small plates, so you could grab a drink and appetizer before dinner.

There are two Bars in Hayes Street - Marlena's and Place Pigalle. Place Pigalle is everything that Marlena's isn't. So, if you're not into drag queens, try Place Pigalle.
