In my husband's opinion, Perla's is one of the best places to get seafood in Austin. Its location is right on South Congress Ave (or "SoCo"), so it's great for people watching on a beautiful Texas night. After dinner, there are a ton of walkable places all around you, like maybe some Amy's IceCream!

We have never had a bad experience at this wonderful place. It's big, it's loud, and it's fun. But mostly, the food is outstanding. It is located in the Domain. Tip: Try the "Pistols at Dawn" drink.

This whole street is a variety of bars, live music, dancing, and food trucks. It is a younger scene but off the beaten path of 6th street. Tip: Use a pedicab when downtown- they are free (but gladly accept tips)!
