Amazing Ethiopian food. Well priced, good portions. Friendly and fast service. I recommend the coffee ceremony, but order it when you order your drinks as it takes a while and will be ready for when you finish dinner.

This is located on Ward's Island. You'll need to take a Ferry to get there, but it's well worth it. Spend the day at the Island. Rent a bike, walk around, ride the rides at Centre Island, and chill at this restaurant for dinner during sunset. The food is all local, with much of their produce grown right on site. The portions are small, but really well done. Service is friendly. Can't beat the views here.

Island Cafe

I recommend checking out their website to see what's going on. The food is really good and reasonably priced. Ecclectic area. Marajuana shops, all sorts of ethnic foods, homemade items of clothing and goods, gift shops (Blue Banana), and all kinds of things you won't find anywhere else.

If you've never done it, you must. Just a tall building but you can walk on the glass floor and learn it's history. Stunning views of Toronto. Visit the 360 restaurant for an unusual experience. The restaurant actually rotates so during your stay you will sit in one place and get a 360 view of Toronto from, pretty much, the sky.
