This is in the heart of Wrigleyville just North of the field, and while have never been inside the store front, I order in from them more than I am comfortable saying, haha. It's the best Mexican food in the city in my opinion.

They have food here, but it's just bar food- and not even particularly great bar food at that, but it is a cool place to hang out if you're wanting to have some drinks at a friendly local bar.

It feels like Capone is going to walk in any minute. This bar has been around since the hay-days of prohibition and I don't think it's been updated ever since. Ask the bartender about the secret tunnels under the building if it's a slow night... Cool stuff.

The ultimate dive bar... This is a great 4AM bar. If you head there after 2AM on a weekend, you'll find the most eclectic mix of people gathered anywhere. From tuxedo wearing twenty somethings to seventy something cowboys - ALL GATHER HERE. It's probably one of the last great non-contrived dive bars anywhere in the city. If nothing else, you never leave without a story to tell- especially if there is karaoke. Cash Only, but there is an ATM inside.

Crew is, at least as far as I know, the only gay sports-bar in town. It's actually also got some really good food too- bar food that is.

This is a little farther north, but it's probably the most 'local' gay bar in the city in that it's not one that many people outside of those that live here know about. Also an interesting mix of age and backgrounds. I think this is still cash only, but they have an ATM inside.

The oldest home in Chicago was relocated to this great little park. It's almost never featured on any guides to the city, but it's a really cool place to go. You can stroll down Prairie Ave and see the original 'Gold Coast' where you can still find mansions that once belonged to the likes of titans like Marshall Field and Potter Palmer.
