Banff Springs is a beautiful historic hotel built in 1888 originally owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway. The building was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1988. Afternoon tea is a perfect way to enjoy it!

I love this ski hill! Maybe my favourite in the area. It never feels busy on the hill, but the parking lot fills up on the weekend, so head there early or go on a weekday.
There is a gondola up to the ski area ... we usually ski out at the end of the day.

Love this ski hill! It’s further than Sunshine, but parking is right at the ski area (no gondola) ... so you’re probably skiing in the same amount of time.

This is a great ski hill, smaller than Sunshine and Lake Louise ... but still great and has some very challenging runs. If you only have a couple hours, I believe you can pay by the hour (check the website for details).
There is also a tube park for those that don’t ski, but still want to have some fun on the mountain.
