Christmas lights were never so dramatic and wonderful as on the boats and their rigging in Ramsgate harbour and surrounds. Spectacular. One for the diary next year if you missed it. There's also a great choice of restaurants & bars around the harbour.

Lovely walk from Ramsgate to Broadstairs through this beautiful park with little gems, such as this Italianate Glasshouse. The Italianate Glasshouse, a Grade II* Listed historic monument, was erected in the grounds of East Cliff Lodge, Sir Moses Montefiore's 22 acre estate in 1832.
Glasshouse, garden and occasional tea garden open fine weather on summer days, come and enjoy the tranquil and peaceful surroundings. Dogs on leads welcome.

Great ice cream
There has been an ice cream parlour at 76 Harbour Parade for over 70 years. In 2014, the parlour was bought by Nick and Rachel who are continuing the tradition of great Italian ice cream at the Ramsgate seaside.
