Historic museum and grounds once home to a founding Long Beach family - the Bixby's. VERY worthwhile to see the house and gardens - and there is a small giftshop and live animals on the property. Very near California State University Long Beach.

A really excellent museum created by a wealthy healthcare CEO. He was not Latin, but loved everything about the culture and art. Exhibits change monthly, however there is always something worth seeing. GREAT museum store with very good prices. Worth a visit.
