The island is covered in professionally planted and cared for flowers. Don’t forget to go to Grand Hotel. It costs $10 a person to enter but it’s worth it. And be sure catch the views of the Mackinaw Bridge especially as it lights up at night.

This is gorgeous to hike up here. There’s a parking place to get close to the overlook but you do have to walk up a little ways. It’s a stunning view and in the fall it’s more amazing.
