South of downtown Boulder, this beautiful piece of the Boulder foothills (the Flat Irons) is the park-like setting of a former TB sanitarium because of Boulder's good air quality. Come hike the trails, then stop at the restaurant for a delicious meal.

The park trail also accesses the path that goes along Boulder's Rocky Mountain foothills, called the Flat Irons. Both trails are fairly flat, so they are good for both the young and old as well as more agile hikers.
