Here are some of our favorite places to eat and drink. We have categorized them between Restaurant, Takeout and Sip and Bite. Between the breweries to cideries to wineries to fine dining, there is a ton to explore. There are a few takeout spots closer to the house and several in Woodstock / Phoenicia.
(Sip and Bite) 5-10 Minutes from house. We love coming here for the incredible food, and incredible beer. Extremely popular on the weekends and they also have outdoor seating.

(Sip and Bite) 25-30 minutes from house, beautiful drive over the reservoir and through several farms before reaching the Orchard - where they have incredible pizza and the best chicken I have ever had in my live. Hand crafted ciders are very good. Definitely check out Arrowood Farms across the street as well.

Hand crafted ciders are very good. Definitely check out Arrowood Farms across the street as well.

40-45 Minutes from House - Tannersville is further north from the house and in more of the ski area closer to Hunter Mountain, super cute town with a couple shops and places to eat. Also located closer to North/South Lake and the famous Kaaterskill Falls Waterfall.

25 mins from house - Kingston is a city that feels like a town but has two districts - Stockade and the Waterfront with plenty of eating and shopping. It is less of a nature focused area but great to see and walk around in. Our favorite spots are the "Rough Draft" book store and checking out the shops around Wall Street.

(25 minutes from House) - This hike is a bit more challenging (it is basically an inclined trail road the entire time) and brings you to the highest lookout point in the Catskills where you can climb a fire tower at the top. Incredible views.
