Beautiful view. Can be swam and kayaked in. Lovely picnic spot.

Mass rock in Tawley is very close by. Great history and magical atmosphere.
Beautiful feature of Leitrim. Short walk around with steps. Bring a picnic or plan to go to the Tea Shed which has a playground.

Duff River Walk
Beautiful walk on both sides of the river. Parking available.
Eagle's Rock
Walk takes about two hours. Not very dirty. Walking shoes needed. Dogs not allowed past a certain point.

Streedagh Beach
Lovely beach with lifeguard in summer months
Lovely 2km Long Beach for surfing and other water sports. Food cart available and parking is beside it.

Bus Eireann bus leaved from cliffoney post office into Sligo every hour or so. The local link times can be found online and is cheaper

Clothes
Bring a raincoat just in case ! Comfortable walking or hiking shoes. If you have a wetsuit it’s always nicer and booties if you want to surf. Beach towels or picnic blankets would be good too.
