Go to Hjalmars for a handful delicious oysters, a pizza or jug of a aperol spritz. The food itself would be enough, but then add on a beautiful view of the boat harbor and Hamburgö. It’s a winner.

Craving fresh seafood? Smögen is filled with shops to buy tonight’s dinner, Göstass is one of many. I mainly come here for the “räkmacka” which is a baguette filled with your choice of delicious Skagenröra (Skagen mix). Essentially the prawns are mixed with mayonnaise, gräddfil (a bit like soured cream) and some seasoning. Worth a try if you’ve never tasted it!

Lunch, dinner or a fika - Skäret have whatever you may crave and a view that’s more than enough to pay a visit for.

During the day this is an excellent choice for food, and after the last plate of food leaves the kitchen it gets transformed and becomes the main place to go to for a beer and dance.

Take the ferry from Hamburgsund and visit Boviken for a swim either at the beach or walk around and meet a jumping tower with two levels. The surrounding is stunning as well.

A trip to Fjällbacka center is always a good idea. Buy a soft serve and walk towards Kungsklyftan where they back in the days filmed the Swedish movie Ronja Rövardotter (Ronja the Robber’s Daughter). Tour under the big rock and start walking up the wooden stairs for one of the best views west coast can offer.
I dare you, walk into Tång and try to not come out with a bag full of beautiful interior and clothing’s. I have never succeeded…

Wandering this 1 km jetty is a favorite for many visitors. The colorful fishing huts are the main attractions, but you have plenty of small shops with clothes and other lovely items, restaurants and coffee shops to experience along the way.
