South Brent has a lot of the basics that one needs. If you know where to find them, the Co-op is in the centre of the village along with the cafes haberdashers, pharmacy, butcher, art & craft shop and around the corner in station yard is wakeleys a fantastic home/garden/farm/hardware store.

Walks

There are lots of lovely local walks, straight out of South Brent and in the village is the island and also a walk along the Avon River. Not to be missed Shipley Bridge with it's tarmac path a very beautiful walk along the Avon up towards Avon Dam.
