If you're visiting from the South don't waste your time because I'm sure you get plenty of this deliciousness, but if you're not...go to Pearl's for some delicious Cajun and New Orleans style drinks. Dinner or brunch is good. If you go for brunch get the Bloody Mary and corn bread.

This place is quality. I have found that over the years I enjoy getting the chef's combo's a sushi places so I get some fish and don't fill up on rolls. This place always has the freshest fish. It's BYOB so I bring a bottle of my favorite white and enjoy myself here or bring it home.

Let me start with , they were awarded a James Beard. It's well deserved and in walking distance of the apartment. It's the type if dining people think they can only find on Randolph St in the West Loop, but it's here! and unpretentious. They even have specials like half price wine night, half price mussels night and burger night.

This is a Chicago dive bar at it's best and if you come in the winter you need to get their warm glogg. Throw some money in the jukebox because that's a thing you never get to do and sit for a minute without looking at your phone.
