The Boro School is a flameworking school and studio. They teach all kinds of glassblowing classes, but specifically they teach pipemaking. If you are into functional glass, definitely stop by and ask for a tour of the facility. Their gallery of functional art is outstanding. They also teach an intro course almost every Friday night.

Pike Place Market is a huge maze of vendors, shops, and restaurants. Go in the morning and have a piroshky for breakfast at Piroshky-Piroshky. Then shop until lunchtime. Pike Place is also close to the Seattle Art Museum and the Aquarium.
