Sightseeing
This is a lovely patrolled beach near Akolele. You can drive there or if you want a bit of a walk along the coastline drive to Wallaga Lake Heights and park in carpark lakeside. Follow the walking track to Camel Rock beach 2 or 3kms . Track leads first to the mouth of Wallaga Lake ( where it opens to the sea) then if you follow track to the right you will end up at Camel Rock Beach. You can actually walk all the way into Bermagui if you are keen !

Go to NSW National Parks site to organize a cultural tour of Gulaga Mountain , it is extremely culturally significant to local Yuin people.

Locally caught fresh seafood and take away fish and chips. Enjoy fish and chips on the beach at Bermi or bring home some freshly caught local fish to cook at cottage. Our favourite things are the Wapengo Oysters which we enjoy on the deck with a cold beer.
