Great beach for family or groups. Can drive and park on beach. Has a "car free zone" for families. Surf schools/hire, cafes, 3 miles of golden sand very nice for a run/walk

Great beach for a family day out. Gently sloping sandy beach with no waves so very safe. Great views and Mullaghmore village had good pubs and food. The Mullaghmore head drive is amazing and the famous Lord Mount Baton castle is in view and close by.

Great family walk. Great views. Approx 1 hour walk from house in a loop and back. Maybe longer as you will want to stop, take in views and maybe stop for coffee on way back.

You can climb Benbulben. It is a relatively easy walk but you do need to be fit enough to climb a steep continuous section and scramble some of it if needed. Regardless of weather, it is also advisable to have warm and waterproof clothing and walking boots. You will need food and drinks for the trek. Views from the top are amazing. In wet weather, this can be a challenging slippy walk/scramble. Seek trail guides online or book a Trail Leader.
