This is the best-kept estate of its time. Completed in 1610, the house and its gardens are open to the public as part of the National Trust. There is a small entrance fee of about £6-7 for an Adult.

The biggest park in London. The very place King Henry VIII went hunting and descendants of his deer are still running free. I've lived here my whole life and I still can't help but point and stare at them. Beautiful! So many separtely-kept gardens and places to visit in the park too. Try Pembroke Lodge at 2.30/3pm for freshly baked scones and afternoon cream tea... and get lost in the Isabella Plantation at sunset. All this is accessible from 'our' side of the park, Ham Gate.

Traditional, peaceful and picturesque! One of my favourite places to go and enjoy a cream tea. They serve breakfast and lunch too with a large tea room/dining area and outside seating too. Views over a sunset, just a beautiful location.
