Leaving the little hamlet of West Brookfield is a double track road that makes for a easy beautiful hike along a babbling brook. In the winter there is cross country skiing back country style. The road accesses loads of private land that is in current use, meaning it cannot be posted for trespassing, and the local communities get to enjoy the woods and forests!
