There are few traditional Latin food spots in town so this is a gem. Great empanadas and plantain chips. A perfect spot to work from or meet up with a friend for coffee. They have LIVE salsa music a few times a week as well.

OUR FAVE ✨ Take a towel, sunscreen, and some friends. No food, no drinks (besides water), and no pets :/. There is a free, pet-friendly side on the outside of the pool though! Tons of people go there.
This pool is top-less friendly so don't be shocked and don't stare!

Barton Springs Municipal Pool

Go paddleboarding! If the sun's out, you must go paddling. There are few locations along the river but we go here. Just be prepared to find parking along Stephen F Austin Dr.

A huge park with so many people/families/dogs running around. All playing lawn games, volleyball, picnicking, or taking a nap.
If the park looks extremely busy then you should consider avoiding parking on Lou Neff because you may get stuck waiting to get around the one-way loop. We typically turn on Stratford Dr and avoid waiting and we park at the "Zilker Gravel Lot Parking". (You can google map that name!)
