Galveston Food scene
Galveston is full of locally owned restaurants. We are so lucky to have cuisines from around the world represented here on our island. I’ve listed only my absolutely favorites here. I’ve personally eaten at all of these establishments and can highly recommend them all.

On the island. The portions are large so one order of shrimp and fries can easily be shared. This is a food truck so no bathroom and parking is limited. There are picnic tables.

This is a top #1 thing to do and eat. Get a milkshake or malt, you won’t regret it. Get their saltwater taffy or any of their fudges. Watch them make the taffy. It’s always packed on weekends.

They do sell out of things so get there early. The ribs are my favorite. Their BBQ sauce is tangy and delicious. Their sandwiches are huge! You can get a 2 meat plate and split with someone.
